We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Visions and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyler, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
My ultimate goal is to open an art gallery that seamlessly bridges the gap between physical and digital art. I want to create a space where immersive digital installations live alongside traditional artworks, showcasing how the two worlds can complement and enhance each other. Beyond just displaying art, I want it to be a hub for creativity, a place where artists, designers, and innovators can come together to collaborate, inspire, and create.

This leads to my next goal. I would love to lead a design studio that works with top brands to bring their products to life through animation and design. I love the idea of helping brands tell their story in a visually exciting way while continuing to work with other creatives. At the end of the day, I just want to keep creating, collaborating, and building something that brings people together through art and design.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Everything I create is built around one simple idea: satisfaction. You know those videos you randomly come across while scrolling that just hit right? That is exactly the feeling I try to capture in every animation. No matter what I am creating, my goal is always to make it visually and emotionally satisfying.

Lately, I have been excited about diving into product visualization. I am using the same techniques I have honed over the years, and now I am applying them to products in a way that makes them feel engaging and dynamic. What makes this even more exciting is that I am getting to collaborate with brands I love, and I am eager to see where these partnerships will take us.
My drive and passion is what fuels me as a 3D Designer. I moved to Los Angeles when I turned 18 shortly after earning an Associate Degree in Graphic Design. I grew up in a small town and did not see myself staying there. I packed my car with everything I could fit and drove out here with dreams of becoming a Game Designer. I studied Computer Science and Game Design at a campus next to Activision and Treyarch.

I had a clear vision of what the future would look like, but reality soon set in. I had to choose between dropping out and moving back home or living out of my car and pursuing my dreams. I chose the latter. For all four years of my bachelor’s program, I lived out of my car, used a 24-hour gym to shower, lived off of fast food, attended college, had a part-time job on the weekends, and spent all of my extra time honing my design skills at the library, all while no one in my life knew about my true situation. It was lonely but I was determined for it to pay off.

Three weeks before I graduated, I had a job lined up as a 3D Artist. I lived in my car for another three months while I saved up and eventually secured an apartment. I have now held this job for almost seven years, steadily working my way up and enjoying every day of it. During that challenging period, I even met the love of my life, and we are currently planning our wedding.

The most important lesson I have learned along the way is to have fun. Early on, I got caught up in the pressure to constantly upload content to keep up with the algorithm. I pushed myself so hard that I burned out. I had to take a step back and remind myself why I started creating in the first place. The moment I let go of that pressure and focused on enjoying the process, everything changed. I even stuck a post-it note on my desk that simply said “Have Fun” to keep myself in check. Now, I feel like I could do this forever.

At the end of the day, I want my work to inspire others. Whether it is through the animations I create or the way I approach design, I hope that people see my passion and feel encouraged to explore their creativity. My journey has shown me the value of every step along the way, and it reminds me that when you commit to a goal with steady determination and genuine passion, the path to success unfolds naturally.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
LA has so many great spots, but one of my favorites has to be the Farmers Market. It’s perfect when you just want something to do, plus there are tons of food options. One of my go-to spots there is Nonna’s Empanada.

If you’re looking to spend some time outside, Lake Hollywood is a solid choice. It’s a nice, relaxing spot great for picnics or just getting a great view of the Hollywood sign.

For BBQ, Bludso’s is hands down one of my favorites. It’s a must-stop whenever friends or family are visiting.

And if you’re in the mood for something more upscale with an amazing view, I highly recommend Castaway in Burbank. The food is great, and the view of the city is even better. If you go, definitely request to sit outside, it’s worth it!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give credit to all the artists and designers who share their knowledge online. Watching tutorials, reading about different techniques, and seeing other creatives push boundaries has been a huge source of inspiration. It’s amazing how much you can learn just by being part of a community that’s passionate about the same things you are.
