We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Braun and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success and my brand I would say is the fact that I am my authentic self in front of the camera while being connected with my audience.

You have to take an interest in who your audience is, why they are watching you and how you can be a problem solver for them.

When Jay and I started filming couple comedy content one year ago that has now over 300 million views on social media, it was important to us to educate, inspire and entertain others in a more positive way about healthy relationships.

A lot of the content we researched about other couples back in the day was negative. We decided to not only take ourselves too seriously but also add solutions into the videos on how to treat typical couple situations in a more mature way that would move the relationship forward.

Another important thing is definitely that we are super conscious about reinventing ourselves constantly. When we got so much positive feedback on our videos, we decided to start a podcast on “How to attract the right partner” and we also created an E-Book about the same topic.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
What sets me apart from others is that I am very conscious about myself and my surrounding.

I also mastered the ability to visualize my goals over the last few years. I’m a big fan of mood boards, speaking things into existence, and putting no limits on yourself on what you can achieve. Another contributing factor that helps me is being grateful for what I have and using that to your best ability. Always remind yourself that there are people who do more with less!

Creating over 1000 pieces of short- and long-form content for social media within the last year was challenging but also taught me a lot. It taught me how important it is to hold yourself accountable and to show up for yourself and your community who depend on the leadership and value you provide in your content. I want everybody to know how easy it is to connect with people worldwide through love, travel, and creating content.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Los Angeles offers so many different vibes depending on where exactly you stay and what are you looking for.

If you ask me, you should go on a hike. My favorite hikes are Temescal Canyon, Griffith Parc or up to the Hollywood Sign, the view at the end is worth the workout, I promise 🙂

After that, you will be hungry, I recommend Urth Café, they have tasty, organic food and great smoothies.

Don’t miss out on Universal Studio also and make sure you do the Universal Studio tour, you will love to get an opportunity to look behind the scene of movie production.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A big shoutout I want to dedicate to YouTube, especially to our shorts community partner manager Alyse Overweg, who gave us the opportunity to be on a billboard not only on Sunset in Los Angeles but also at Times Square, New York. That was a big dream come true and also showed me what can be possible in just one year when you stay consistent, focused, and disciplined with your goals.

Another shoutout goes to our talented and hard-working videographer Connor Bahng. It’s a game changer when you have another creative who understands your vision and also comes up with great ideas. Connor, we wouldn’t know what to do without you, thank you for always having our back!

Thanks also to Sharde Lomax who supports us with her Know-how as an associate producer here in LA.

Last but not least, a big shoutout to our Mr. and Mrs. Global community. They inspire us every day to be a blueprint for other business-oriented couples all around the globe and spread the message of love even more.
