Meet Victor Loo | Principal Consultant/Androgynous Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Loo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victor, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
During the pandemic, it teaches us we cannot prepare for what we cannot prepare for, and I affirm Marie Konda’s method on #SparkJoy. The factor behind my success is do what #SparkJoy, and learning to embrace minimalism and live by the quote, “Do what you love, love what you do” to continue to be intentional to integrate my passion for arts/fashion into the healthcare sector by turning a vision to an impact.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Having a positive branding as an androgynous model and principal consultant, I set a unique marketing strategy with #fashionintegration through integrating arts/fashion with healthcare and social determinants of health to reduce disparities and increase access.
Being disciplined and determined sets a structure that allows adaptability to be nimble in decision makings guides me to where I am today professionally.
Surround yourself with competent individuals that #SparkJoy and always be the best version of yourself, and always help whenever possible.
Stay away from the environment/individuals that brings negativity; learning to accept imperfections, and be fearless in pursuing a vision.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Seattle, the beautiful Emerald City in Washington State. I will start the day with jogging around the Capitol Hill neighborhood, and end the path to look at the scenic view at Madison Beach. From there, we will then head to enjoy coffee, or tea, and pastries from the historic Panama Hotel Teahouse in Chinatown International District. Having lunch at Tai Tung restaurant that was established in 1935 by Grandpa Quan, Tai Tung has remained in the family for over 87 years and has been passed down from generation to generation. Explore small business owners in the charming Pioneer Square, visit Pike Place Market, stroll to Downtown Waterfront. Head back to Capitol Hill for happy hour/dinner at the unique Chophouse Row with eclectic vibes and features awards’ winning restaurants.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For the shoutout, I want to express gratitude to coaches/mentors/leaders who inspire us to take calculated risks. This quote, “”Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” from President Obama instils courage and strength to take the road less travelled, and not be complacent and stay stagnant.
