We had the good fortune of connecting with Vince Kelvin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vince, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
To me, the most important factor behind my success, has and continues to be, a core uncommon lasting devotion to the clients! In a day and age where most either promise or seek a “quick fix”, and profit often overrules personal attention, I prefer to focus more on genuine care and organic assistance.

I think that business is all about building lasting relationships, and putting the well-being and long-term success of my clients first.

The men and women who come to me for assistance tend to do so from a place of concerns, and having been there myself, I have utmost sympathy for their struggles, as well as respect for their desire to improve and the courage that it takes to open up and want to evolve.

I think that we are all very capable, yet too often we tend to not stick with whatever we want long enough for it to truly pay off. We get discouraged, impatient, and distracted. That very same factor applies to both my success in owning and developing my own business for now over three decades, and the success of the clients that I have the honor and opportunity to assist all around the world, from my beautiful LA base!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others?

What makes the assistance I offer very unique and most efficient is that it comes from a blend of actual credentials, and real life experience. This doubles the potency and impact in helping others! I have been certified, and awarded many times over, and had the privilege to train closely with true legends in the field of self-help, as well as actual real life experiences, five marriages, over 5000 makeouts, as many concubines as Krishna had, according to the story.

The broadness of the range of experience, as silly as it may appear at first, can provide others with a depth of reference that will uncommonly be encountered. In a perfect world, who would want to learn the art of rich relationships and love from someone who is a widow (my first wife passed away at a young age), a four-time divorcee, hold the silliest world record (5000 makeouts) and experienced first hand the silly expression “Get laid like a rock star”! But in this world, my personal trial and error, questionable choices along the way, and depth, uniqueness, and richness of experience will save you time, hardship, and regrets while expediting your own success and true fulfillment.

What am most proud of or excited about?

I have been blessed in my career with incredible media exposure throughout the years. From BBC and UK Channel 4, NBC to Canadian Broadcast, all the way to The Steve Harvey Show and Vice TV, to name just a few. My favorite of such experience was being featured in the CNN’s This is Life episode “The Seduction Game”.

Working with Lisa Ling was the most humbling and refreshing filming experience. And all that TV exposure was followed of course by being featured on some of the biggest social media movements such as Channel 5, Adams 22 No Jumper, and Poudii, again, to name just a few. Hollywood has been good to me, I truly love LA!

How did I get to where I am today professionally?

Through extreme resilience, and flexibility! I first came to Los Angeles in 1990 as an aspiring musician to attend The Musician Institute in Hollywood. I had to get resourceful as I didn’t want to work outside of the music industry after I graduated. So I managed teaching music at most Colleges in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Witnessing so many talented artist from all around the world eventually struggling to make ends meet, and hitting a rock bottom myself, I dived into a different field, that of Motivation and Hypnosis. I recall being in studios with bands and looking at the clock to eagerly go home to study more about my new passion.

After the passing of my first wife, it took me over four years to dare dating again, as I was deeply devastated. But when I did, others rapidly outlined that apparently, I did seem to have a nac to be social, fun, and seductive.

And little did I know, by hazard not by choice, my true life mission revealed itself. That of being a bit of a cupid to others and help them to find success in love, romance, and flirting. Of course, life is the whole package, so often the coaching starts with a social and dating inclination but rapidly deepens to all aspects of the fascinating puzzle of life.

Was it easy? If not, how did I overcome the challenges?

It wasn’t easy at all, and I don’t think that building a career and business is ever supposed to be a piece of cake. In context and contrast with the hardship some may encounter in life in general, I do feel very lucky and grateful. Yet I have had my share of struggle to overcome.

My music career ended when it was confirmed by many doctors that I had chronic tendinitis. The Self-empowerment Center I was operating for over seven years came to an end after I had trouble recovering from lower back surgery, and the medical bills piled up.

When I reopened Project Hollywood (Former Dean Martin Mansion) where the book “The Game”, had been written, a poor choice of business partnering found me nearly bankrupt, over $30000 in debt!

Each time I thought it was over, but persistence, divine providence, and hard work always found me resurfacing sharper, stronger, and wiser. The toughest was the passing of my mom during the pandemic, but her courage in facing cancer shall always inspire me to press through no matter what. And of course the phenomenal, unprecedented support from Shannon, my now girlfriend of seven years at the time of this interview, for whom I am so grateful.

What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way.

Whatever we experience, even if difficult at the time or regrettable later, is a part of us and can serve us to build character and make greater distinctions. We can either succumb to difficulties or use them as a powerful foundation for our success. Cliche in writing, essential when applied in real life.

What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?

I wish for my peculiar journey of following my heart to genuinely inspire others to dare to dream big, to start wherever they are at, with whatever small steps can be taken now, and to stay true to their cause, to not sell-out or compromise out of fear of not having, or lack of approval from others. Don’t be afraid to be different, to follow your unique path, that is how trends are paved! While remembering that in the end it shall all pass, so do not sweat it too much or at all along the way!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My absolute favorite LA spots to be social and encounter the most interesting beings would be a tight between Venice boardwalk and Melrose ave. Yet, The Melrose Trading Post market on Sundays would probably break the tight.

I do love the vibe of the Farmers Market and The Grove. And at night, The Highlight room at the dream hotel in Hollywood! I would make sure they also get them to shop at Santee Alley Downtown.

And being a lover of Ramen, I would take them on a grand tour of all the best Ramen spots in LA! My heart belongs to the City of Angels, as one of it’s adopted child, I know I will stay my whole life, there’s no place like LA!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My father Jean-Pierre and my late mother Yvette, for setting such perfect examples of being their own business owners and demonstrating impeccable work ethics, and always and only giving me total support for all my aspirations.
