Meet Vittoria (a.k.a. Yet Another Nameless Ghoulette) | Keyboard Ghoulette

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vittoria (a.k.a. Yet Another Nameless Ghoulette) and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vittoria, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Hi, and firstly thank you for getting in touch with me! I will be the first to admit that I’m not all that successful just yet, but I think that I’ve cultivated a dedicated audience by filling the Ghost (the band)-shaped hole in many online trends. The one that really shot my online presence into the spotlight was a “What if your wedding was…” type video where I play an excerpt of Canon in D by Pachelbel and transition it into Life Eternal. So I would say that the most important factor behind where I am now is specialising in bringing a niche into popular trends that most other creators typically would never. It also helps, I think, that I have a strong musical background and a very developed ear so I can do it in a way that doesn’t seem intrusive, or have unique insights that may be overlooked by the masses.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As I mentioned previously, the thing that sets me apart from others is my specialisation in the niche community that is the band Ghost. I’m truly fortunate to have come across the resources that I have, the knowledge, all of it during a time when the hype around this band is at its all-time peak. I already spend so much of my day doomscrolling on apps like TikTok or Instagram Reels that I can safely say that I am at least in the know of current trends, so my ability to apply that to center around Ghost has been key. But of course, as a professional musician, being a social media influencer isn’t the ultimate goal, but I recognise that it can lead to great opportunities down the road, and if my followers are enjoying the content that I post, then I don’t see a problem with it!
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve had to learn along the way include not being too intense on the music, at least not to a music analysis level, since majority of the fanbase isn’t here to dissect every chord – and that’s fine, that’s what bands like Dream Theater and Animals As Leaders are for. I just have to remind myself not to get lost in my nerdiness from time to time, hahaha! The other challenge I’m still working on is the pacing and programming of my content, how often I post and what I post, so that I don’t alienate my audience too much if they really enjoy one thing but not the other, and just to keep engagement as high as I can. I understand that we live in a world where our choices for content are infinite, so I have to show my appreciation to my followers by posting the type of things that’ve trusted me to post. So it’s not easy, but I love learning more and more about my ghesties who leave touching and funny comments, getting to know them more and what they like – it’s all very new, but I hope I’m doing a halfway decent job at least, hah!
The thing I’m most excited about is for new official Ghost content, whether it’s as big as a new tour date/record, or as small as a new chapter on their YouTube channel. The more Ghost there is out there, the more material I can play around with, and the more fun interaction I can have with my fellow members of the congregation.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Hollywood, and I love to watch horror movies, so you will find my haunting The Grove quite a lot (I have the AMC Stubs A-List). It’s just such a convenient spot for me to spend time alone in a dark room with some ghosts for an hour or two. I love it!
I also really enjoy bowling, though I’m not very good, so I like going to Bowleros around LA. My favourite one so far has got to be in the Shops at Santa Anita. It’s also got an AMC right above so sometimes I’ll go play 2-3 games on my own, then power down with a movie. It’s a great time, you should definitely try it.
This last location I cannot disclose, but if you know you know. It’s a beautifully haunting place, I find myself going there in my free time just to take more pictures on my polaroid camera, but most times I just go there to stand in the silence and meditate a little bit, feel closer with nature, and be inspired.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my fellow Ghouls and Ghoulettes in Emeritus who work tirelessly in their craft, and of course Papa Cognatus for bringing us together. I also have to shoutout Fauxbias Forge, Sister Belladonna, and Vita DeVoid for all the community building they’ve done for the congregation here in Los Angeles. It is truly only with the support of these ghesties that I am able to have my platform as it currently is!
