We had the good fortune of connecting with Wolf and Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wolf and Love, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success is that we adapt. When the pandemic hit we had to cancel all of our shows. We were stuck wondering what we could do. We decided that the best way to continue to reach an audience is by making videos. Danny got really into videography. He learned how to use Adobe Premiere and the two of us started making videos. Our biggest success was when we released a 360 music video of our song Silverspoon. It got half a million views in just a few months. Just when we thought we were in the clear and had our biggest show yet at the Troubadour booked, we had to cancel due to COVID. Instead of giving up we decided to adapt. We can still reach the audiences we want to reach, we just need to find new ways of doing it. Our next venture is in live streaming and we think that is the future of the music industry at least for the foreseeable future. It hasn’t quite caught on but there are a few bands that are making a name for themselves using live streaming.
We love to perform and if we can’t play to a live audience then this is the next best thing. You have to adapt!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We have been a band for about 3 years. We’ve been able to survive the pandemic which has been incredibly difficult for musicians because we have been focusing on promoting ourselves in other ways than playing live shows. We have been making interesting videos and have recently gotten into live streaming. We feel that these days it’s very hard to reach an audience because playing live is almost impossible. But now all you need is a camera and an internet connection and you can reach thousands of people from the comfort of your home. We turned our recording studio into a music venue with lights, a multi-camera setup and a full sound system. We’ve learned that you need to adapt to the times you’re living in if you want to survive. Although we miss the feeling of playing to a live audience, we still feel the energy of the audience through the positive messages we receive everyday. Although we’re just getting started on this new venture, we’d love for you to tune in and check us out. You won’t be disappointed!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we were to take someone to see some incredible live music in Los Angeles, the first stop would definitely be The Echo located in downtown Echo Park. They have the best sound and light show for a smaller size venue. If you like thai food you should then head across the street to our favorite spot is called Sticky Rice. Get the beef curry, it’s so thick! Danny loves to play tennis on his spare time so if you want to join him, head up to Scholl Canyon to hit the ball around. Denny likes to workout at his favorite spot, Training Mate. Little side note but we filmed our music video Flexibility there.
If you love hiking as much as we do then the best trail in LA is the Beaudry Loop in the Verdugo Mountains. There is some of the best views of Los Angeles from the top of those mountains. It also happens to be a short 5 minute drive from Danny’s studio.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We’d like to give a huge shoutout to Danny’s fiancee Cat Crawford. She has helped us immensely for all of our band needs. She takes photos, films music videos, updates social media, helps backstage to just name a few things that we couldn’t do without her. Our success is a direct result of her support day in and day out. Thanks Catt!
