We had the good fortune of connecting with Yeva Poghosyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yeva, what do you attribute your success to?
Although there are so many factors that have greatly contributed to our success, I believe that the most important factor is resilience, the power to be able to keep going despite everything in the way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a finance executive and multi-industry business consultant with a strong academic background and 27-years of experience in finance and accounting set me up with invaluable skills, which I am successfully implementing at ARY D’PO. However, to my pleasant surprise, launching our jewelry brand gave me the opportunity to bloom as a designer and discover my artistic side, which I always thought was just an enthusiast’s love for art, architecture, jewelry, and fashion.

But in addition to this more lighthearted lesson, we have faced many challenges, like every business does these days. Developing a Brand is not easy, resources are limited, mistakes are made, technology is frustrating, etc.… However, despite the difficulty, we love what we do. We have many new great design ideas, we constantly receive compliments from our followers and customers, we win awards, we are actively improving daily, and we are being recognized for it – all of that motivates us to move forward by setting and achieving higher goals.

Our team and I are especially excited to announce that in addition to our website ARYDPO.COM and the boutiques that carry our jewelry pieces, ARY D’PO now has a new showroom and mini storefront at The Drop at Glendale Galleria, amidst a collective of over 60 other talented designers and artists. The new store is part of an initiative to help ARY D’PO connect with new customers, improve existing customer service, and bridge the gap to customers in a cozy atmosphere. Now, our customers can schedule to meet with us, explore our beautiful jewelry collections, and best of all try on our elegant and timeless pieces in person.

This storefront comes at the culmination of the lessons we have learned since launching in 2019. We are now uniquely equipped for this new experience and are so unbelievably excited for what we are going to learn when launching our new upcoming Fine Jewelry luxury line this Fall. Additionally, we will be able to take special orders to customize the existing designs and design and craft bespoke pieces made to our customers’ satisfaction.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As soon as they land, I’m taking them to see ARY D’PO showroom…. I’m joking, of course. While we certainly will go there at some point, there are few absolute minimum’s to show your best friend visiting Los Angeles the first time. Here is my list.
First, to start off with short day trips, I believe that the most important little trips that are necessary for every LA visit are to Universal Studios, and The Huntington Library Art Museum and Botanical Gardens. If the schedule allows, it would be nice to hang out somewhere at the beach, as well.

Food / Restaurants: Besides, our house with homemade Armenian barbeque, I would make certain my friend got to experience my favorite restaurants: Granville, Via Selfie, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, and Pardis Restaurant Glendale.

Art / Museums: For museums, other than the lovely Huntington Library, I would love to show my friend the Getty, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Norton Simon Museum, and possibly Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Shopping: And of course, with shopping we’d start off with Glendale Galleria (where our storefront is conveniently located LOL) and then we’d go to the Americana across the street and finish up our shopping with a nice little dinner at Bacari GDL that day.

However, one week is not enough for Los Angeles!..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, absolutely! We are who we surround ourselves with, and we wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals without our family, friends, and the many great partners we currently work with and support. But if I’m truly honest, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, my best friend, and my partner, Arman. ARY D’PO wouldn’t exist without him. I would like to highlight his incredible talent as an artist and designer and his never-ending creativity, which helped us to win numerous awards and recognition from the early stages of our journey.
