Hi Yolanda, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My success as both a hairstylist and realtor likely comes from a combination of:
1. Personalized Service- Making clients feel valued, whether in the salon or in real estate .
2. Strong Relationships & Networking- Building trust with clients and referrals through word of mouth.
3. Attention to Detail- whether styling hair or finding the perfect home, your eye for detail sets me apart.
4. Adaptability& Trend Awareness – staying ahead of trends in both industries to offer the best to our clients.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I began my hairstyling career at 18, driven by an unwavering passion for my craft. over the past 40 years, I’ve had the privilege of working behind the chair, collaborating on runway shows, fashion events, and music industry projects-experiences that not only honed my skills but also enriched my creative spirit. One of my most exciting moments was working behind the scenes at Fashion Week, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of style.

When an accident on my right hand forced me to rethink my career path, I embraced the challenge and reinvented myself as a realtor. Over the past two years, I’ve channeled my passion for helping others into guiding clients through the exciting, yet challenging, journey of finding their dream homes. Despite today’s high interest rates, the joy of helping someone secure their future and invest in their happiness remains a constant source of inspiration for me.

I believe that the fusion of beauty and real estate isn’t just about style or property- it’s about transforming lives. whether I’m behind the chair or closing a deal, I remain committed to creating positive, lasting change in every client’s life. My journey is a testament of resilience, creativity, and the belief that with passion and a positive outlook, we can always find new ways to make a difference.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day 1: welcome and Relaxation
kick of her visit with a cozy night in our backyard. Enjoy a quit dinner by our pool with the soothing sound of our waterfalls as a backdrop.
Day 2: Coastal Glamour
Late morning-head to Mastros in Mailbu for a chic brunch. afternoon-spend some time at the beach maybe leisurely walk or just soak up the sun. then enjoy dinner on the pier with ocean views, making it a truly memorable night.
Day 3: Hollywood vibes
Lunch at Tao restaurant or the IV for a taste of Hollywood’s dinning scene. afternoon-explore nearby rooftop bars and rest. to take in the city views and the buzz of the area. Then consider a relaxed dinner where you catch a glimpses of celebrity life in the area.
Day 4: Happy Hour and City Views
afternoon visit Polo Lounge for happy hour experience with stunning city vistas .Evening-continue with a visit to a rooftop bar or lounge for more spectacular views as the sun sets.
Day 5: Santa Barbara Escape
take a day trip to Santa Barbara. Enjoy a scenic walk along the beach, explore local shops, or even visit a local winery if time allows. evening- wind downwith a laid-back dinner-perhaps at a local eatery known for its ambiance and local charm.
Day 6: Mix It Up
Flexible day and weekend use it to revisit favorite spots or just unwind and relax at home have our quality time one-on-one.

Blending beauty and real estate, I’ve built a brand that transforms not just looks, but lifestyles. As both a hairstylist and a realtor, I help people feel confident- whether it’s in their appearance or their dream home.
With years of experience in my hairstyling bus. and as a newer realtor, I’ve mastered the art of personal transformation. My ability to connect with clients on a personal level allows me to cater to their needs, whether it’s the perfect haircut or the perfect home. I have been a hairstylist for 40 years with many amazing mentors through out my career. working in fashion shows and music industry. I believe through my work, I’ve not only built a loyal clientele but also inspired other entrepreneurs to embrace their versatility. through my knowledge I hope to inspire other entrepreneurs to do the same and succeed. I believe my story represents innovation, passion, and the power to reinvent yourself at any age. I’m thankful to my real estate mentor Kimberly Fike for all her support and inspiring me to be the Best realtor .
