We had the good fortune of connecting with Yoosun Kim and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yoosun, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
sympathize situations and problems with children & compliment even small works.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a director of children’s choir (non-professional/whoever can join), it is not easy to make a perfect music such as singing techniques, musical phrases, etc. The reason that our choir lasts for 33 years is everybody who loves music can join this choir. So even though we don’t make a perfect music and best singing, but everybody can enjoy singing and dancing. Also, when I see that the children who forced to join the choir by parents or the children eventually enjoy and express their musical talents and improve their singing technique and presentation on the stage, I feel so overwhelmed and so proud of working with these amazing kids. I know all our teachers are struggled to bring out their feeling and talents, sometimes we do demonstrating fun faces, over gestures and acting to let them feel how they have to do, but most of kids are shy and no react on that. I feel that I am a monkey in the fence of zoo, but it is worth it. They know teachers’ effort but it is hard to express their feeling in their puberty stage. I want them to overcome those hard stage with music so I tried to give them more love and to understand their problem in their stage while teaching singing. Music is a great method to lead young kids to right way, and to build their life with full of joy and great experience.
