We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Yuran and Joey Rogoff, and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian and Joey, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
JoRo Productions was founded with the purpose of telling narrative stories based around true events and the real plights of average Americans. Through these topics, we hope to inspire and educate people to become informed, aware, and the best versions of themselves.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
JoRo was founded by a social media content creator with the goal of transitioning full-time into film and television and telling the stories he wants to see on the big screen.

With the skills Joey has acquired in the short-form narrative space, combined with my screenwriting, production, and studio background, we have a unique partnership and perspective that is unlike any other.

Our first film together, GUARDIAN ANGEL (starring VEEP’s Sufe Bradshaw) is coming out soon and we cannot wait to share it with the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Depends who is visiting we guess. Definitely the museums and studios as LA is built around art and film. This is the hub of creativity so we would make sure to bring our friends and family to places that have helped shape the way media is presented today.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The first people we must thank are our family – Howard Yuran, Dana Yuran, Jenna Yuran, Amy Eisenberg, and Eric Rogoff. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to to pursue this career and tell the stories we hope will impact the world.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our brother in arms, Vivek Amin. Vivek is our brother, the best friend in the world and without his support and friendship we couldn’t do what we do. We love you bro.
