We had the good fortune of connecting with Melissa Rebronja and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Melissa, do you think college was worth it?
Yes. Some of us know our life’s mission early on, some don’t. Going to College or a University can be a great place to figure out what is it we want to do. For example, my BAA program was called Administration and Information Management. I took programming, system management, etc., along with Psychology as my elective. Once I graduated, I realized psychology is what interested me the most, so I went on to build on that skillset by becoming a Life Coach & Healer. The programming courses I took, helped me have the skills to build my own website for example. It was all worth the price tag for me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a private practice as a Heart Healer. I help people heal emotional wounds and discover themselves as their own source of love. What sets me apart from others is my background and experience. I offer my clients a variety of modalities that they may have not experienced before: Hypnotherapy, Chakra Medicine, Human Design Chart Analysis, along with Talk Therapy and Energy Work. What I learned is, it may take time to find your niche clients, but eventually the right people will find you. If we are ready to serve those who show up, we eventually discover ways to serve that become part of our unique signature. I believe that healing begins with the heart. When we heal our heart, we free our soul.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Griffith Park, Hiking Trails, Lake Shrine, Venice Cannals, Abbot Kinney Street for dinner.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Lisa Erickson, author of “Chakra Empowerment for Women”. She is a chakra based energy worker, writer, and teacher specializing in women’s energetics and sexual trauma healing. Her resources, books, and courses have been a godsend, when I was ready to dive deeper into Energy Work.
