We had the good fortune of connecting with Paigé Andrée and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paigé, what’s your definition for success?
I use to think about success as making a lot of money, having the big house and more in the form of things. Life is pretty messy and money comes and goes. Yes I love making money and it’s on my list to be a multi-millionaire because it gives me freedom/security to live on this earth. I’s not about “things”. Every few years I evaluate my life and go inward and ask myself what makes me feel alive (this is success). I usually work with someone to facilitate the process cause my ego (head) can get in the way. It all comes from the heart…that inner compass- God voice- that joyful feeling. I am talking about living your passions. My passions, when lived, always make me feel successful. I make a list and narrow them down to 5. They always seem to include living creatively, enjoying family, growing my business and spiritual growth. When I am living my passions there is this inner energy I have…I am present and not living in the past, I am mentally growing, I am filled with love and vitality. Success is also walking through FEAR.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Let me start off by saying this…. Everything I do in life is from what I have been challenged with … I see a need and bam I launch. For 34 years I have been in the beauty world. In my twenties to early thirties I acted and did print work. I always was aware of taking care of my body, skin, hair and soul. At 16 I found myself in the hospital with my thyroid shutting down. My hair thinned and I researched all I could on the hair follicle and nutrition. This led me to being a part of a huge launch of one of the first hair extensions companies world wide. My specialty- hair preservation and how NOT to break hair. I walked the streets to every salon asking if they wanted to get trained. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Well 20 some odd years later…??? Think it’s pretty huge. For 23 yrs I traveled and taught 1000’s how to do hair extensions along with doing many celebs. I find myself now fixing many bad extension jobs. During my time doing extensions I dealt with fertility issues. This led me to a 9yr battle to have my son. I found myself documenting the process and ended up on talk shows and a commercial. I still speak on the emotional turmoil process. In vitro Fertilization (IVF) left my skin very pigmented and pushed me into menopause….well what do you think I did? Launched a skin care company…easier said than done. I learnedly about the skin and what ingredients work. I found a formula that changed my skin over night. After 4 months of not revealing what I was doing, my husband said,” I think you have something here”! Many asked to buy what I was using….So I bought these pharmaceutical formulas and launched… Héilo (Halo) Skin Care in 2018. I saw this vision in my mind of a results driven line at a lower price point. I was blown away at the price points in this industry…so off I went to create a high end line at lower price point. Héilo Skin Care uses organic botanicals, marine plant life coupled with a Nobel Prize ingredient- EGF. EGF is Epidermal Growth Factor. Paraben Free and No Animal testing. We started giving trial kits away to get before and after pictures. We were blown away at all the results by day 3!!! DAY 3!!! Our little Glow Kit has now grown into more than 20 products in less than 2 yrs. We are a do good company and donate portion of profits to helping Mending Kids Foundation and families to become a family (IVF medical bills to adoption costs). We are pleased to have a few celebrities (RHOD, Dorothy Lucey and more I am not allowed to say yet) loving our line!! We have esthetic doctors and nurses who see great results with our line and soon will be offering Héilo. Estheticians now sale our line and have helped us create the Héilo protocol treatments!

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I would first take my guest to Malibu Cafe for a lovely outdoor meal…it’s so beautiful there. I’d take them to the beaches in Malibu and Ventura….go walking through Ojai and have a day at the pool at the Ojai Valley Inn. If they have never been to Santa Monica, I’d take them to the pier after a day of riding bikes along the coast. Then we would have spirit days: Walking through Serra Retreat to take in the view of the ocean and mountains. Then we would have lunch at Butter Cafe and Bakery before they got back on their plane

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am nothing without my family and God. Sounds so cliche but it’s true. My Dad gave me drive and logical thinking, my mom gave me acceptance and spice, my brothers are in the mud with me getting dirty or cleaning me off…they talk me off the ledge in stressful times. My husband- I cry even trying to express this… He lets me stand on my own. He will help if he can, cheer me on and always say go for it. Letting me stand in my success and never taking away from me is HUGE. My friends… I have this group of women who are all so strong. The hours of praying with me, nurturing me, plotting with me and allowing my spirit to expand to self actualize. My whole life I have always been about following my inner compass, feeling fully and manifesting. So books by Dr. Joe Dispenza, Byron Katie- The Work, James Allen, “As a Man Thinketh” and the one and only Book of all time- the BIBLE!
