Whenever I finish doing a comedy show, I take a Melfie and post it on my Instagram and Facebook accounts, with a caption that generally describes how fun the show was, thanking the host(s), any friends who came to support and I always finish the post with, thank you self for persisting. I define success as doing what you said you would do—consistently—with clarity, focus, ease, and grace. This definition, from Dr. Maria Nemeth, has helped me shape a version of success that’s grounded, honest, and useful.

Once you have your own definition of success, decision-making becomes much easier. You may have heard “sparking joy” being a more and more commonly used phrase in society, especially amongst millennials, and the book walks you through, step by step, how to tidy up your physical space as well as all the mindset shifts that take place as you leave behind anything that doesn’t bring joy to your life. She teaches in the book that you have to hold each item in your hands, and little by little you become more attuned to your true sense of self and the deep desire you have within to create the life you want and deserve.  Read More>>

“Never do an ask without a give” is one of our guiding mantras.
It means showing up generously, respecting people’s time, being clear and kind, and reading the room.
Whether casting a feature film or reaching out to a new collaborator, we always start with what we can offer.
That principle has shaped how I lead, build relationships, and create an environment where people feel valued. Read More>>
