We had the good fortune of connecting with Viviana Escobar and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Viviana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think Integrity, discipline, love for what I do, optimism, authenticity, openness, resilience, consistency, all have been very important for me but in my experience, to succeed in business the most important factor is passion. When your heart beats with purpose, you’re unstoppable. Passion is a guarantee that you’ll persevere when things get complicated and when passion is combined with integrity you can be even more successful in the long run.
What should our readers know about your business? Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about.
I experimented with so many therapies, healed my body, and had the opportunity to collaborate with many brilliant minds and that led me to design the “Mana Breathwork Method.” All these experiences have given me the ability to see what’s needed, recognize how energy should be applied in certain situations, and help people realize their unique potential. I am proud of this beautiful program and excited about our students’ and clients’ healing journey.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise?
By being aware of what’s happening in the world, committing to make it a better place, staying motivated, trusting my intuition, and because of the unconditional support from my family. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? It was a hard start, as I mentioned, this comes from my own experienced and healing process. I had to overcome my own mind, what was happening, and make the best out of it. I was in chronic pain and I wanted to help others that were in the same situation. Still, sometimes it is easy and sometimes can be challenging, and it’s all my choice. I had to master my capacity to adapt to change. On the path to success, I’ve learned, we often have to make decisions that are difficult because they find little favor in your environment or because they’re connected with financial risk. So, I try to be in a state of coherence, to be able to make better and more courageous decisions. Becoming more resilient not only helps us get through difficult circumstances it also empowers us to grow and even improve our life along the way.
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way?
I’ve learned so many lessons from these years. I think one of the best is to recognize the right invitation and detach from the fear of missing out – I try to live my life with patience. This means to be prepared to wait a little longer for the right moment, and this state of mind makes it possible to approach decisions with much greater foresight.
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I witnessed and experienced first hand the hardships faced by humans when it comes to preserving or recovering their health. My companies were founded as a rebellious upstart to tackle the problems in the health system. Mana Breathwork Method helps people feel empowered, develop self-love, master self-knowledge, and rejuvenate their bodies.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Our itinerary will be depending on the season, during spring and summer I love PCH cruising and relaxing time at the beach, Hermosa Beach and Zuma Beach are some of my favorite spots. During fall and winter, there is so much peaceful beauty in the mountains. Regarding where to eat, LA Chefs are so creative and have so much fun creating the most authentic or exotic fusions based on diverse cultural backgrounds, so I enjoy discovering new flavors. It’s always amazing to experience a culture through their food! But honestly, from all that I have tried, I think the best plant-based cuisine I had, has been by my husband, Joaquin Espinacas. Los Angeles has so many museums and performing arts venues. There are always art exhibitions, experiential pop-up museums, street art tours, and small performances from poetry readings to live music, all over the city, so checking out new artists is always amusing. There is also a wide variety of temples from all religions, philosophies, and practices; visiting them is a good opportunity to dive and learn about different perspectives. One of my favorites is the Self-Realization Fellowship, Lake Shrine. If it is their first visit, Universal Studios is fun and entertaining, and to end their week I always suggest a Spa Day. We have so many fun options. My favorite is Surya Spa.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mentors Leonard Orr, Joaquin Astelarra, Carolina Escobar and Adrian Yanez.
