We had the good fortune of connecting with Aurora Allen, M.A., RYT-500 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aurora, what inspires you?
People who show up to do their individual work in healing so they can show up better for themselves, others, and the world at large.

What should our readers know about your business?
It has taken a lot of patience and faith over the years that I would be able to create a lifestyle and living using my gifts and training to serve others. Initially, I was on a path to heal myself and understand how to tap into the potential I believed I held within. There has been a lot of time invested in my education through trainings and mentorships that didn’t guarantee I would ever be able to make a living teaching bodywork. There have been failed ideas along the way, but as I look back at what led me to my current position alongside the incredible women I work with, I can see how it all held a great purpose in leading me here. I believe the biggest lesson I have learned is to take risks when it comes to listening to the voice inside. If an idea keeps speaking to you, listen and go for it. Even a failure holds purpose in learning and the potential to lead you where you are meant to be. Get in touch with your knowing. There are countless ways to do this and each of us is different so keep exploring. Educate yourself on yourself. Get connected to who you are from the inside out. If you need support and help with this, Radical Wellness was created for this purpose.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of the greatest gifts of living and working in Southern California is the sunshine. Being able to do life outside and connect to nature is why I love this area. One of my favorite places to spend time is Laguna Beach. It’s a special spot that feels like vacation. A perfect day for me includes grabbing breakfast at Urth Cafe and then walking along the beautiful beach, exploring tide pools and splashing in the waves. Laguna is an artist’s community and offers incredible art festivals and gorgeous galleries to check out. Definitely a gem.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This shoutout goes to my incredible team at Radical Wellness Co. This collaborative group of female professionals and healers works as a team to bring people through their personal journey of healing into radical wellness. Founder, Elyse Snipes, LMFT, has hand picked some of the best women in their field to create a holistic approach to wellness. This team is comprised of licensed therapists and social workers, an enneagram trainer and business coach, a creativity and divinity coach, and myself, a behavioral health and embodiment coach. This is a community of women who lead by example and support others in living their best life in connection with who they are: mind, body, and spirit. Not only do we work as a collaborative to lead our clients into wellness, these women show up for one another in our own growth journey. I’ve never experienced a business with so much care and compassion for the human experience. Radical Wellness Co., thank you!
