We had the good fortune of connecting with Katonya Breaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Katonya, what matters most to you?
Authenticity. Authenticity matters most to be because it’s the easiest and most fulfilling way to exist. Pretending takes work. Being or doing anything other than what is a reflection of your true authentic self can be exhausting and provides no long term benefits for yourself or those that are impacted by your presence.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bring a business owner is rarely easy, despite what non-business owners might think. In order to succeed I personally believe that you must first believe that you can. Despite everything going wrong, and things go wrong, you must firmly believe that what you are doing is both good and possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would eat at Crossroads kitchen and Cecconis which has great vegan options. Nic’s on Beverly is another awesome vegan spot. We’d find some great hiking trails in nature, one of my favorites is summit to summit in Topanga and a beautiful trail in point Dume Malibu. I’d create space to sit with girlfriends to discuss life and energy while dining at Inn of the 7th Ray in Topanga Canyon. If we are lucky, the city will be open and we’d find an amazing sound bath to go to. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
