Hi Emily, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The most important value to me would be integrity. It is a value that I live by, not only in my professional life, but also in my personal life. By definition, it means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. But to me integrity to me is more than just being honest, it means being dependable and following through on my commitments, being open and honest when communicating with others, and holding myself accountable and owning up to my shortcomings, which, yes, I have because I am human! This is so important to me because simply put, you gain self- respect and respect from others. Think about a situation where you caught someone in a lie or were cheated by someone. How did it make you feel? Even if it was to spare your feelings so you don’t get hurt, it still felt bad, didn’t it? Remember Karma is a B* and the truth will always come to light, so let’s all spare each other the long-awaited truth and speak the truth now! This has always been the way I conduct my business. In a world as competitive as real estate, I have encountered people who lie, cheat, and even bribe to get what they want. So much so that many consumers have negative connotations of realtors and that hurts the reputation of great and honorable agents in the business. So if I can be one person that changes the stigma of a sleazy salesperson, I can pat myself on the back and say job well done! I think by conducting myself this way I can inspire and motivate others to do the same. And by living this way I have been able to build positive relationships with amazing people.

What should our readers know about your business?
I help people buy and sell homes, and everything in between. I am your local Los Angeles Realtor, and owner of The Real Estate Match, Inc. My mission with The Real Estate Match is to match our clients with their perfect counterparts; homebuyers to their future home, and homeowners to their future buyer! My greatest strength is my connection and communication with my clients. I get to really know my clients, many of which become long time friends, to really evaluate their wants and needs. In turn, we create personalized service that is unmatched. There were definitely a lot of detours to get to where I am, but I kept my eyes on the destination and surrendered to the journey that unfolded. It took hard work, dedication, A LOT of rejection, and wholehearted faith to get to where I am today as a successful, top producing agent

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I’d like to acknowledge my amazing parents. As first-generation Americans, they came to this country facing more challenges than I could ever imagine. But they led by example and taught me what hard work, determination, and discipline can create, a beautiful life for themselves and their family. Second, I’d like to give credit to my first real estate mentor, Tony Wu of Supreme Investment and Supreme Funding, who taught me everything about real estate and financing. I worked under him starting as an assistant, and it was my first dip into the real estate world. Third, I would like to give recognition to Alex Trevino, my current broker who continues to share his great knowledge and mentorship with his 20 plus years of experience in the industry. The Trevino Family is the basis of what great teamwork can create and I am so thankful! And lastly, I can’t forget all my friends who were there to keep me grounded throughout my journey, you guys are the best! Without all of these amazing people, I would not be where I am today and I am forever grateful!
