We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamyr Greene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamyr, what do you attribute your success to?
Being honest when it comes to my artwork is most important. I like to convey stories within my pictures and videos. I never want my success to get the best of me because that’s not who I am.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
22 years old and have been doing video production and photography since my junior year in high school. Being an amateur in my newest prime to my life. I started the journey of a lifetime. Working deep in the industry with companies from Hot 97 to XXL. I’m reaching great accomplishments in the span of my career. Being a mogul and legacy holder is what my brand represents. I want to expand my reaches through my art whether it be music, videos or photos. People will know me for those creative abilities.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My town isn’t really a city but I would take them to lake spots definitely around the area. I love sitting and creating by places that involve peace.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to show love to Ron Downes, Kahrice Harrison, Jon Crawford and my long lost friend Lionel. M Macauley. These four individuals have always been beneficial in my life. I worked with all of them and created projects that are timeless.
