Meet Lisa Tran: CEO, Coach, Philanthropist, Nail Tech

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Tran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business, to love what I do and influence the world in a positive way and to send a message to always live life above the bar. Not only did I want the monetary compensation but I wanted the freedom of owning my own business being in control of my own time and creating a legacy with a purpose
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my own company after coaching basketball for 15 years. I currently do mobil manicures and pedicures using all my own products. What sets us apart is that we do exceptional work using the best non toxic nail polish. I got where I am today through hard work, dedication and believing and betting on myself. It definitely was not easy and hearing your loved one not supporting you also makes things hard. I was able to over come my challenges by staying super focused and listened to my gut! Made sure I blocked out any noise or distractions. And stayed away from anyone who drained me or didn’t support my goals. Lessons I’ve learned along the way, never quit, love yourself, self care, work hard, stay laser focused, be diligent and dedicated to your goals I also learned to surround yourself with people and things that fit your future not your past. I want the world to know that our brand means to literally “live life above the bar” to always strive for the best and never accept the norm and raise the bar for yourself!
I want people to know. If you can think it, will it, be it, it will come to fruition.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend was coming to visit me in Los Angeles. I would take them to the beach, I would ride PCH and take them to all the local spots to eat, maybe Nobu, paradise cove, Geoffreys, moon shadows. Stop by point dume for a nice hike and watch for dolphins. Then I would take my friend up to Santa Barbra, Ojai for some wine tasting at gaineys. Then take the coast up to pismo beach and stay the night at sand castle, go to the sand dunes for some atv riding. Then head up to Monterey San Jose for the day, and go to big sir, go to the hot springs. Now that I’m older. Nature calls, love to do things that rejuvenate my soul and energy and that is always to reconnect with Mother Nature.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family! My friends! My significant other! Tuff love and always challenging me to do and be better.
People might hate me for saying this but…. Trump for his great books I learned so much from!
