We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Menendez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The concept of success is a topic that has changed quite a bit along my career. Before I started working in the entertainment industry I believed success was a goal, an ideal state in my career that I would attain once I have worked with certain clients, I have won a certain awards or I have earned a certain amount of dollars. I was wrong. All these years of career have taught me that success is not a goal but a journey. Success is not about always winning but about always learning. Success is a resilient attitude based on being true to who we are and what we came to do to this world. Success is about authenticity.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I would define my professional life as unconventional, adventurous and blessed. I’m a dreamer and a fighter since I can remember. I love setting up high goals and working on achieve them. Sometimes the road is very difficult and things don’t come out as expected or planned, I have learned how to take it bit by bit and how to adapt quickly to change. My positivity and love for life have helped me immensely in this journey. I have always felt inside of me that I came here to serve a mission: to help create a better world. A world that embraces diversity, unity and love through art, music and technology.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The day would start with a hike to the wisdom tree at sunrise, the views of the city are gorgeous from there. It would follow by a yummy breakfast at Home in Los Feliz. From there we will do a driving tour around Hollywood, We-Ho, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air. We will reach Santa Monica for lunch and enjoy a delicious fish in Casa Del Mar overlooking the beach and the ocean. We will rent bicycles and take a ride from the Santa Monica Pier to the end of Venice Beach. Of course we will stop to do some shopping at the Venice broad-walk and to do some dancing at the drum circle during sunset. From there we will head to Downtown LA where we will enjoy dinner in Perch, one of my favorites rooftops of the neighborhood. We will karaoke at the Brass Monkey in Koreatown afterwards. And that will complete one of the most amazing days around town!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to start thanking my beautiful family for always being my rock; their unconditional love, support and belief in me have been key during all these years. I would like to thank my wonderful friends spread all around the world. My clients, mentors, co-workers and crews for always inspiring me to be a better version of myself. I would like to send a special shoutout to the lovely Deborah Dominguez, who nominated me to do this interview, for her constant love and support. To my amazing brother Isaac Gallego for always being here; and to my dear friend Sonia Sebastian for always being so inspiring.
Last but not least I would like to thank my dad who has always been my number one fan and who is taking such a good care of me from heaven.
