We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Lowe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Being an intuitive reader is actually a pretty draining thing. Although I read cards, that’s not my only method of communicating with source. Every moment I get messages. I hear people’s prayers and unfortunately I feel when people are projecting on me. It is a very stressful but fulfilling gift to have and can be a little lonely at times. It takes a lot of work, education, healing and strength to do this type of work and it’s a constant battle of self.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As I said before, tarot is not my only form of divination. I write/create music, color, formed a clothing brand and cut hair to also practice my gift of healing.

With music and my clothing brand, I’m able to convey a message to the masses about understanding your power, worth and beauty. Coloring allows me to practice focus. Cutting hair allows me to practice energy healing with my clients.

All these things may be different, but I’ve learned how to combine everything together to make a larger impact for n people’s lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am such an adrenaline junky so my favorite place would have to be six flags. After a long day of riding rollercoaster, you’ll need to calm your nerves and little bit so the beach clearly is the next place to go, especially at night with what ever vises you partake in and with whomever you feel the most at peace with. The best hotel I’ve ever stay in was the Intercontinental, the staff is welcoming, it has great views and if you love baths as much as I do, you’d love the jacuzzi tub.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Well first I’d like to thank my ancestors and spirit guides for guiding my path and putting this in my face to show me who I am. Goddess Isis for working with me in my walk with my femininity. I’d like to thank my mom and brothers for loving me unconditionally, cheering me on and always giving me sound advice. I’d like to thank some peers; Jabree, Lasean, Bryant, Kyle, Lorde Judah, Southern Mystic Tarot, and Ericka for supporting the heck out of me and sending positive vibes to me. I’d like to thank some family members; Kelli, Eddie, S crapp, Jaydah, Dwight, Tony, Matt and James for being there at low times & never judging me but having my back. I’d also like to thank everyone who’s crossed me that gave me the learning lessons. Lastly, I’d like to thank myself for never giving up.
