We had the good fortune of connecting with Emilie Perz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emilie, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As yoga-based wellness brand we have evolved to capture a huge, diverse market in less than a year. Our mission is to serve four unique health pillars: physical, mental, emotional and energetic health.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m the founder of Sequential Body, an online yoga platform. Career-wise, the path has unfolded beautifully; but personally, there have been struggles. Being a yoga teacher means living a life of honor and truth. When you start living a life of honor you have to dig deep and release anything on your path that creates negativity or conflict to your own truth. Personally, I’ve had to let go of many relationships over the years that became toxic for my energy. The clearing process is absolutely necessary and needs to be done often to make sure you are in a spacious, open to receive home. Any drama in your life will become obvious to your audience when you’re preaching about spiritual practices.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LA is of over-achieving, disciplined intellectuals who is looking to live their best lives by fulfilling their highest potential. What I lecture and educate about are our innate tools to unlocking that vast potential and putting it into action. During a trip I’d take a friend all over.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
What impresses me most about Sequential Body is our devoted community. Our subscribers are highly engaged on several social media platforms and are so supportive to the brand that they have even started to teach and offer classes on our platform! It’s our way of giving back to each other and keeping our community growing and thriving.
