We had the good fortune of connecting with Mikayle Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mikayle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risk has played a big part in my life. I quit my job working as a paralegal at a law firm and went to do my own thing. My own thing being my own anything, i had no full plan. From there i started my logistics business. I sold my own modded car to buy a truck and trailer. Gas and insurance were through the roof for me but it paid off. You just got to remember the bigger picture and get it done everyday. Life in Atlanta everyday is a risk!

What should our readers know about your business?
Getting your llc is the easiest part, but putting equipment in your name and insurance is where it gets difficult. Im only 21 so i had to research business insurance, and building business credit. Things they don’t care to teach in school. I had to research taxes, and how to pay my employees. All difficult to put into fruition but i made it happen. I want the world to know, research goes a long way but have fun through the journey cause its never easy. I want the world to just follow my youtube channel “mikayle”, its my fun business outside my main business that im trying to grow.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Best food place in Atlanta all depends on what you like. If you like wings, BBs wings is probably at the top. If you want to be fancy, del friscos or jct kitchen. If you just want to chill and get some drinks, the Beverly. Lastly if you are in the mood for ice cream or something sweet, jennis or daigashi bakery. Tourist spots that people visit are lennox and ponce (a beltline people walk on that stretches north to south). My favorite out of all of the food is vbq, since im vegetarian and i usually hang out at centennial park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to shout my mom and my sister out. I helped my sister grow her clothing brand while she helped me with mine. My mom let me move back in so i could save money for a house. Family always has played a big part in my life. My grandma helped me get my first rental properties and condos. I always have to give them credit
