Meet PETITE MELLER | SINGER SONGWRITER

We had the good fortune of connecting with PETITE MELLER and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi PETITE, how do you think about risk?
My career started in London UK, Island records I had a huge hit song “Baby Love” in Europe but I always dreamt about living in LA and bringing my music out here to the US. Now my first show is at the Neuehouse this week at Andy Warhol exhibition, I couldn’t think about a better place for making my dreams a reality. I will sing my cover to ‘Sunday morning’ with A special guest on this special night.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m not about being cool But coming from dancing your pain away music. My purpose here is to be on stage and to write songs which uplifts the spirit, helps heal, overcome. I was discovered by a UK manager , signed to Island Records and released my video Baby Love which was an international hit from my Album Lil Empire. My dream was to move to LA where i truly felt home. and here i am, it wasn’t easy but i enjoyed every moment, i believe everything you do is for a reason, and your steps always leads you to fulfil your purpose here in this absurd existence.
I learnt to wear my trauma/wounds proudly as my choice of style, Ive learned that everything we absorbs coming through our creation. That if you receive a gift from god to do something you should use it.
My revelation was during my philosophy classes in university i was so inspired that songs came out really quick written on my notebooks.
