We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamiya Robles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamiya, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
What was going through my mind in the beginning was to take all of my knowledge and experience that I had within the credit repair industry and attempt to help as many people as possible. As an individual I could do a lot but I knew by making it into a business I would be able to reach more people at a faster rate.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
For over 13 years I worked in a corporate setting but like many people was getting tired of the same old mundane lifestyle. With the knowledge that I had in credit repair, coupled with my problem solving skills, I chose to take a leap of faith and jump into entrepreneurship full time. In the beginning this decision was exciting but also scary because now, I have completely given up my financial security. In the early days, trying to run a successful credit repair company on my own proved to be quite challenging, especially when it came to advertising and obtaining new clients. Luckily, through word of mouth, word got around that FixMyCreditNow850.com was able to produce positive results quickly causing a huge wave of new clientele. One of the major lessons I’ve learned from that experience is that as long as you stay focused on your goals and remain consistent with your work, you will be able to have a successful career in this industry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a Philadelphia native, I would go back to my roots and take them back to my hometown. First and first mostly, we would go to one of my favorite pizza shops and get a Philly cheesteak with french fries and a soda. After that, we would need to walk all of that off and head over to South Street and do a little shopping. If there’s any more time left I would head over to the Art Museum, run up the steps like Rockey and enjoy all of the works of art on display.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to first like to thank my parents, Wayne and Theresa Peeler, Esq. for raising me to be this amazing woman that you see before you. Prior to my mouther’s passing in April of 2021 from COVID, her and I had long discussions regarding my personal success as the success of FixMyCreditNow850.com. In her final days, both she and my father expressed how proud of me they were. Without their love and support for what I do, I don’t know where I would be today.

Inclusive of their support, I would have to give my business partner, Dedrick T., major recognition for his involvement with the creation, growth and development of FixMyCreditNow850.com. Dedrick has an extensive background in business development and management which are skills necessary for my company to thrive within this industry.
