Meet Noah Sharpe | Personal Trainer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noah Sharpe and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noah, what principle do you value most?
Above all I value living a life based in empathy. Regardless of the situation, living a life in empathy allows me to walk in peace and constant awareness that everyone is living life through their own perspective based on their own personal journey and that I can only give love and compassion because you never know where someone is coming from. In my day to day life this provides me patience and understanding and in my profession as a personal trainer this reminds me that we all start somewhere and for many, showing up and being vulnerable is in itself a battle.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a personal trainer and entrepreneur. I’ve spent years working on my own body and helping others achieve their physical goals but what has brought me the most pride is when clients have gone past the physical and been able to grow mentally. Time and time again its shown that a great aesthetic can only take you so far, but when you turn attention to building and expanding your mind the sky is the limit. With my clients we make sure we work on the body and on the mindset it takes to succeed not just in the gym but in the challenges we all face in life. Before personal training I was just an ex athlete with a passion for working out but still serving tables as my 9 to 5. The comfort of my steady job in my home town was actually the very thing keeping me stuck until the drive of knowing I was meant for more soon had me quitting my job, packing up my apartment, and moving to LA. I started succeeding at a local big box gym until everything came to a screeching holt with the pandemic and I found myself unemployed 6 months into moving. It was here I learned sometimes patience is the key to your greatest blessings. Instead of going back to working for someone else at a job I would never be happy at I started my business from scratch as an independent trainer. It felt crazy at the time, taking on a risk, taking on new bills, looking for new clientele, and all in a pandemic. Sometimes life’s best opportunities come in the craziest of times, but when your gut says jump you ask how high. 9 months later I never could have imagined the reward for my career would be this great. My brand isn’t about just building abs or going on a salad diet. It’s about realizing the greatness that we all carry and the potential each person has to be their very best self in and outside the gym, that our bodies are constant examples that you get out what you put into this life and that you have control of the outcome.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite place for a nice dinner is Katana in West Hollywood. It’s only a few minutes from the bars so its a great place to go if you want to eat then go dancing after. A fun day activity is LA AXE IT, a 21 and up axe throwing club in LA with snacks and drinks. Regardless of indoor activities I also always have to go to the beach so my favorites would be Huntington Beach or Santa Monica Beach then hitting the boardwalk .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would never be where I am without the support of my friends who saw greatness in me, even when it was hard to see it in myself. In times of doubt and heartache my team has always pushed me to be my best self.
