We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Doucette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
From a very young age, I was always drawn to music & entertainment. At the age of 2, Chris Tucker caught my attention in his comedic performances in “Friday” & “Money Talks”. My mother would say that I would request to put on “crazy man” while I sat in awe every time watching him go! You could say that was the beginning of my passion for the arts. Chris Brown was the true artist who made me believe that “I could too” chase my dreams at a young age and turn it into a real life career. Being that him and I are both from small towns, I always saw it as motivation. With greats like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Usher, & many more being played in my household growing up, the culture of black music has always been in my blood. Whether it’s dancing on stage, or acting on set, it was always my destiny to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a masterful artist, I excel at many things. I’m professionally signed to 3 talent agencies, each with separate representations in commercial, theatrical, and dance. I act, model, dance, sing, produce, direct, you name it I excel at it 😉 The bar is set & separation is created once you witness the extreme levels and power my art holds. I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands to biggest names. As a genuine lover of entertainment, it’s always difficult to pick a favorite when every job becomes your favorite until the next one. I’ve worked with Nike, Disney, Clean & Clear, Google, Cotton, Uber Eats, & so much more I could never list them all. I can without a doubt say that working with Givenchy & their incredible director & actor Sam & Aaron Taylor Johnson was a big highlight of my life and career. Interacting and performing with such brilliant minds is what I was made for! As I always say, Loving yourself & inspiring the world is what my art means. It’s been a tough road to get to where I’m at today and the journey still has its challenges. The only way I could ever push through was….. through dance! Dancing saved my life. From the moment you witness me dance, you’ll never envision a lower bar. I’m the greatest dancer you’ll ever see. With more than credentials to back it up. Since I was 9, I knew I wanted to dance and perform on the biggest stages forever. I won countless talent shows growing up so it didn’t surprise anyone watching me turn dreams to reality. Once I graduated high school in 2013, I went to an entertainment school in Florida before coming to Los Angeles at the start of 2015. The rest is history. I’ve been broadcasted on tv over 11,000 national airings. I’ve worked high fashion & beauty with a special live performance in Paris, France for Cartier. I’ve been on Disney XD! I’ve also met some really amazing people here who inspire me to be the very best every day. Now I get to do what I’ve always dreamed of, and that’s creating music! I just released my debut album “Why Do You Always”, a complete cohesive project filled with self examination and catchy love songs. Perfect for a mainstream audience as there’s no cursing, and more than enough energy to get you moving and grooving! Now I have amazing music to get me to that biggest stage to show some of the world’s best dance moves! What I want the world to know most about me, is that I’m purely loving myself enough to inspire the next person to do the same. No matter where your heart lays, follow it. Embrace who you are, be confident, and watch your full potential grow. With God as my leader, I have nothing to worry about.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh man, where do I start! 🙂 For food places, we definitely have to hit up all the Asian spots specifically Korean food. Ktown has some of my favorite bbq and fried chicken spots. For sights, there’s always the Mama Shelter for a nice rooftop to get the hills, and Hollywood view for newcomers. You have Universal City Walk filled with theme park like stores inside. As well as Davey Wanes if you’re into bars and live music. A special setting could be the downtown Perch which is the largest dining rooftop in LA. Perfect for a romantic date that “of course” I’ve used 😉 If you have energy, like myself, how can I forget the amazing hiking trails towards the Griffith Observatory and Bronson Caves that lead all the way to the famous Hollywood Sign! Plus you could never forget the famous rodeo drive in Beverly Hills, walk of fame in Hollywood, and all that good LA stuff!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My incredible partner and wife soon to be, Jacqueline Alexis. Not only is she my Manager who has helped me develop tremendously, but she’s an amazing supporter and I’m better everyday because of her.

My mom of course! I wouldn’t be here today without her.

My everlasting support from my Grandmother.

And my close friends and supporters who have traveled along this journey with me.
