We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander ᴬᴰ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexander, what is the most important factor behind your success?
S U C C E S S

. . . how does one measure ?

For some it’s money … fame … possessions.

For me … it’s living my best life.

I love what I do.

I awake every day with inspiration, joy and purpose. Yes, some days may be etched in stress and challenges while my body is sometimes uncooperative in a state of exhaustion … but my energy and motivation is fueled when I engage in my morning meditation and assessing my gratitude inventory.

Being consistant in this “everyday without failure” practice is the foundation for my achieving and maintaining success. Another important tool that factors into my success is a daily glance at my vision board.

Being present helps define my daily path. Realizing and choosing to live the life of an artist in all its scope and definition … has given me such vision, direction and clarity. I am living my authentic self – without compromise. For me … ART is LIFE

I know I have led a charmed existance and I am fortunate that my stars are aligned thus placing me in the right place and right time to envision, design, create and collaborate.

Success is an outcome of hard work with passion and conviction.

However, without love and gratitude … success can be fleeting.

LOVE what you DO.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

i AM a CREATIVE : artist, designer, chef, writer, film producer ᴬᴻᴰ photographer.

I own my voice … but in essence … I am just a messenger. My daily motto is inspire and be inspired always in all ways. As a creative … I live in a world by my own design. I thrive in every moment of breath … seeking beauty in all its forms … translating my vision and brand in mulitple disciplines and mediums.

The creative process can sometimes be daunting, grueling and painful. My resolve comes from the constant comfort that the end result IS always better than I imagined. To let go and trust the process is a learned attritbute … I now thrive on the challenges presented and I cannot imagine LIVING any other way. I trust my vision. I am beyond lucky … to be presented with “pinch-me” opportunities. From designing album covers and art directing music videos for international bands, to being a published song writer, to designing a book cover for a brilliant poet, to custom photographic projects for esteemed clients and a major retail design showroom. Producing, co-writing and designing an important period feature film. Designing a furniture collection that combines the DNA of an iconic American fashion house and a notable italian furniture brand. Interior design projects on both West and East coasts. Creating exlusive capsule collections consisting from accessories to wall coverings to very special haute joaillier for The Gilded Owl [ my art currently hangs in the same room with an original Stephen Sprouse ]. Designing for an upcoming Broadway Production.  And honored to be one of the eight artists presented in the debut and first printing of Dream Brother [ a art book ].

I am encouraged and my focus remains true from :

meditation
my many notable opportunities
believing in myself and staying the course of my vision and voice
being present
listening
constant curiosity

I am honored for us to journey together : between heaven and earth exists imagination

… we are the imagination.
