We had the good fortune of connecting with Manya Welch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Manya, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I have always been creative and tuned in to higher consciousness, as an only child I would happily immerse myself in drawing, painting, and imaginative play as a child and would spend hours reading books and living adventures through the characters.

Creativity is so important and despite that it’s a topic where I’ve seen it subtly be eliminated and placed in a box ‘do not open’, it has been replaced with academia, IT, formulas, processes and protocols that should be followed in a precise way.

All children have innate interest in creativity through play, whether it’s through visual creativity such as drawing, painting, building or imaginative play and they love it!

At some point as we grow older the importance of creativity and playful creativity starts tapering off.

Why?

Is it because we become conditioned by society?

Is creativity a threat to the status quo?

If we explore what creativity is and how you would define it, it’s easy to start seeing how it is all interwoven.

Creativity is imagination, it’s thinking outside the box and its problem solving, it’s curiosity, inquiry and intrigue all wrapped up in one single word where nothing about it screams ‘conformity’.

Creativity is visionary and allows the imagination to take the leap into the unknown with excitement and now we start seeing, really seeing, why this aspect of ourselves may be a quality society would prefer us not to have.

Free thinking, imaginative beings are very unpredictable.

This may be the case, this is exactly what is needed when your world is stagnating, when your business needs to pivot, when your relationship needs some inspiration to light the spark, when your family need playful fun, when you need to find clarity and take the leap to the next stage of your evolution. All these aspects of life need ‘Creativity’, to imagine and see a new world aligned to your dreams and purpose.

One size fits all with creativity, it is a universal language, there is no right or wrong, no good or bad, and society did a great job at making you believe that you weren’t good at being creative.

Have you ever tracked where that belief came from? I’m guessing it’s because you were made to feel that way by a comment from an adult or someone at school?

Or perhaps you were told that being creative would never make any money?

Statements like this would have blocked all forms of creativity.

Without really encompassing imagination and having that visionary outlook, making changes becomes harder, more uncomfortable and more fearful which ultimately keeps you small and not shining to your full capacity!

For me and an ‘expansion of consciousness’ and ‘creativity’ go hand in hand as a means to express the soul and connect to our Divine Light and Soul Essence.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I was in my mid twenties when I was 2 years into a Fine Art Degree and I was pulled a side by the Head of the Course who told me to quit because I was going to fail. She was right, at the time I had no idea or concept that had stuck and I was a jack of all trades and master of none. Even with everything stacked up against me I had this deep feeling that I could pass and actually get the highest grade in my degree so I declined her strong suggestion of quitting and went on to not only achieve the highest degree honour in the year I also won an award. It was a profound lesson of trusting my intuition despite the odds. It started me on a universal breadcrumb path of teaching adults as an employee and ten years later eventually running my own creative workshops and becoming an international award winning artist. In my personal life I was reading and delving deeper into higher consciousness and spirituality and started learning Reiki and doing daily meditations. At this point my art started merging together intuitive insights with creative expression and I started to connect with the energy of clients to create bespoke multidimensional soul art.

From exploring the depths of my own inner healing which was supported by my own teachers and doing daily and committed practices I expanded my higher consciousness to an extent where I could tap into Multiversal and Multidimensional consciousness and birthed through what I call Cosmic Blueprints which over lights Creative Light Alchemy.

Cosmic BluePrints are unique original artwork.

Visual Art by passes the mental plane and speaks directly to your sub-conscious. It supports your remembrance of who you are and what you are here to do from a soul level. Cosmic BluePrints are customized, they weave together colours and hues of your essence, infusing grids and codes and crystals that will support the awakening of your true being before the conditioning, wheels of karma, interferences and blocks appeared on your path. Your remembrance of your true essence supports the expansion of your consciousness which then supports the dissolving away of any restrictions. To receive your unique Cosmic Blueprint is an incredibly rare and a special gift from the stars which I’m blessed to share, they support you in reclaiming the essence of your sovereign power.

In addition to the Cosmic Blueprint we explore and dissolve blocks through energetic work, practical tools that align with the 3 pillars of Creative Light Alchemy; Imagination, Visualization and Innovation. In addition we explore your own connection to your soul essence and explore the ways you can learn to trust your intuition, internal connection and dialogue more and more so you can move forward unwavering which is to liberate your soul from the matrix.

These are more than only artworks, they are transfigurational at a soul level.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favourite things to do in California is the Enchanted Forest of Lights at Descanso Gardens, Mount Baldy for Sunsets and Venice Beach, you get to enjoy forests, mountains and the ocean all in one day.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many books that left a lasting impression, I have to say if I was to pick two it would be ‘The Celestine Prophecy’ by James Redfield and the way energetic archetypes are introduced and Dr. Wayne Dyer, ‘Wishes Fulfilled’ which is when I really started believing that anything was possible.

I have two significant teachers that have crossed my path one of those teachers is Hass Sadeghi who fuses together the science with the higher consciousness through Quantum Light Alchemy. His sessions and techniques had a profound improvement to my health after burn out and furthered by own gifts of accessing inner hidden knowledge and awakening my soul purpose.
