We had the good fortune of connecting with Felicia Ebo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Felicia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In the very beginning honestly I had no interest in starting a skincare business. I would constantly read about different oils, butters and botanical herbs but it was really just a hobby. Once I began to experiment on myself not only did I love the results but loving on my skin became the self care ritual that I didn’t know I needed at the time. Over time after sharing my products with loved ones their positive reactions and growing interest from potential customers planted the seed of entrepreneurship. The most important message I wanted to convey to my customers is that meditation and self care rituals can simply look like you setting aside a few minutes to love on your skin. I wanted to be intentional about each ingredient I used by making sure I researched and sampled the best organic bulk suppliers. I also wanted to focus on creating products that indulged the senses and created a unique consumption experience.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Quenched By FE is an all natural plant-based skincare brand dedicated to changing the way you approach skincare by providing quality natural ingredients. We source raw, unrefined, and local ingredients to make our artisanal body products in small batches. As a result, these products contain pure, rich, and healing nutrients and vitamins free of synthetic fillers, harsh preservatives, or toxic additives. As an Esthetician who specializes in the health and appearance of the skin, creating products with scientifically-backed ingredients that have the ability to nurture the skin and optimize its health is my passion.
Throughout my entrepreneurship journey I’ve definitely had my share of challenges. As a first generation business owner there are many lessons I had to learn by trial and error simply because I either didn’t know, didn’t have anyone to ask or didn’t have the resources to inquire. I think one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to not only connect with other entrepreneurs but don’t be afraid to ask questions! Make sure if you do hire a tax professional, attorney, marketing expert, photographer, mentor & etc Always, Always, Always ask for references AND go a step further and reach out to those references and ask questions about their experiences. One quote that I live by that got me through tough times in my entrepreneurial journey is,
“The universe gives you the size of a breakdown that you need in order to wake your up! Those moments are preparing you for something amazing. Those moments prepare you to level up, respect the platform your building and ultimately respect yourself.”
What do I want the world to know about my brand and story? Over the years I’ve studied my craft, but I realized early on that making handmade products bring me joy. I am passionate about Quenched BY FE. I am elated with the growth I’ve been able to maintain through out the years. I’ve completed Esthetician school and I’m excited about transitioning Quenched By FE from a solely product based brand to adding skin care services I.e (skincare consultation & treatments) so that I can better service my community. My goal is to continue to build a luxury skincare that continues to Glow & Grow.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to thank my family, friends, esthetics teachers and customers.
