We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricia Edwards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patricia, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want my legacy to be that I persevered through all my trials to succeed. I want to be remembered as a woman who showed tenacity and strength through times were some people may have given up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I don’t label myself as a Stylist, but rather a “Stylist Concierge”. I provide styling services with a flair. If a client sees a specific item they like, I search for it and find it at the best price I possibly can. I also inspire my clients not to focus on fashion trends, but focus on what suits them and what they like. I’ve learned that confidence is key, not what’s popular or trending. I’d like the world to know that Flawless Belle is about embracing your ‘Perfect Imperfections’. My story stems from suffering with low self esteem growing up and having trouble finding my style. As I got older, I found what works for me and comfort level instead of keeping up with what others were wearing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I currently live in Huntsville, AL and I’d definitely say coming from NYC the dining experience is the best for me. For a week long trip, we’d definitely visit: Bridge Street Town Centre for shopping, a movie, and dinner at Texas de Brazil, catch a comedy show at StandUp Live, drinks and good music Robyn’s Garden Winery, maybe a Sip n’ Paint event at Huemanity Studios, and dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Ruth Chris.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother Joan Huggins is the inspiration behind Flawless Belle. My mom lost her battle to lupus in 2014 and I knew I had to do something to honor her memory. My mom loved matching accessories with all her outfits and inspired my sense of fashion. I started my business with a line of lipsticks and fashion scarves, two of her favorites and have transitioned to fashion scarves and exclusive accessories. I owe my love for fashion to her.
