We had the good fortune of connecting with Haley Hoover and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Haley, what’s your definition for success?
When I think of success I think of being totally at one with yourself. Living from the place where there is zero separation between who you are in your soul and who you are out in the world. Healed. Whole. Full of light and comfortable in your own skin.

That’s the type of success I’m committed to helping my clients find in their own businesses.

You see, success isn’t what we think it is. Gurus and Marketing experts tell us it’s a number to hit or a dollar amount to receive. But just like all things in life, success is much, much deeper than that. I believe success is 27 layers deep. It’s not one growth tactic to end all, hit the numbers and be blissful.

No, in my experience, success is less of a destination and more of a journey. It’s a journey to the soul and back. Making sure all of your external efforts line up with the deepest parts of you. Your God-given purpose. Your heart’s greatest joy. Your natural gifts and your lessons you’re here to learn. Allll of this goes into the making or breaking of your most aligned business.

I don’t teach “fast-track” success methods.
I don’t teach traditional marketing.

I’m real. I’m honest.
I’m more concerned with YOU than I am your business.
Because at the end of the day, as a coach or healer, YOU ARE YOUR BUSINESS. And your business is you. The two are inextricably linked to one another. If you aren’t happy, your business won’t be happy either. If your business doesn’t fulfill you, you won’t find fulfillment in your business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I see my art as a portal to your intuition, which helps heal both myself and others. When we act from our inner-spirit we act from the fullest essence of who we are, rather than from the façade we don for society and to keep up with everyone else’s expectation for us.

My art helps me practice soul-aligned living and model that for others as well. This is why I create the art that I create.

My art is for those who desire more flow, fun and creativity in their life. Business owners who join my intuitive art workshops always release things such as overthinking, perfectionism and anxious tendencies.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Sonora, California is an amazing place to visit or live! I would definitely start by taking them to the nearby Columbia State Park, where they can experience an 1800’s gold mine town in real life! It’s a step back in time for sure. Definitely wouldn’t want them to miss Columbia Kate’s Teahouse, of course!

Next I would take them to downtown Sonora so they could see the gorgeous courthouse and historic hotel. We’d stop for lunch at the Sonora Brewery and then maybe pop by The Sportsman for a cold drink.

After lunch we would drive up the hill to see the glorious majesty of the Sierra Nevadas and enjoy a hike through the sugar pines.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The Prosperous Coach by Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin is hands down the best business book for coaches that I have ever read. I highly recommend it!
