We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephen Moleski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephen, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
I don’t give up .. it’s never an option. I love what I do!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been a makeup artist for over 20 years. I have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry as well as collaborating and developing with some of the biggest brands. The Career of an artist I feel is always huge highs and lows. We are in an industry of preople’s opinions on what is current and acceptable. One min you can be relevant and then the trend or perception changes and you can have our career shift. The thing that keeps me going ands keep me relevant in a ever-changing industry is I a truly love what I do and as an artist. I am always inspired and growing, I keep being inspired with the times and always keep an eye on trends and the market to be prepared for the next wave our change. The only change I don’t waver from and also is my biggest asset is I remain authentic. You get me and my passion every time.
In 2018 me and my Husband created @stewdiospace. Our combined talents of my Makeup and his Photography and lighting have led us to move back to LA in July of 2022. Since the move we have start working with some of the biggest Beauty Brands!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We also love getting out and seeing more of California. When friends visit we do everything but touristy things. Living in the heart off Weho its is obligatory to take them to the Abbey and Beverly Hills but we like to go to Malibu or head down to laguna when we have time. We love our favorite sushi spot Ajisai on Palm ave. But we love just getting outside with our 3 rescue dogs and enjoying the weather.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been so many people along the way but my husband is my rock and always my support system!
