We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Monahan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I used to take the practical route, or the safe route in my life and in my career. I kept ending up unsatisfied, and didn’t feel like I was meeting my full potential. Quitting my full time job to start my own business is one of the biggest career risks I have ever taken. It was scary, but sometimes you have to step through the fear to find your happiness, manifestation or success waiting for you on the other side. I believe when we do the thing that scares us the most we create magnetism and end up honoring our true authenticity.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started a manifestation coaching business that helps you find your true authenticity and to manifest from your most authentic self. My manifestation formula, if you will, focuses on neural linguistic reprogramming techniques to help you change your mindset and limiting beliefs you may have about yourself. I believe we manifest from our subconscious, which is why the power of positive thinking doesn’t always work for everyone. There are often deep subconscious programming that tells us we are not worthy of the things we desire, so once we reprogram those, and build up our self worth our manifestations will come through.

I started a jewelry business, for fun, before I started my manifestation business. I made a lot of costly or expensive mistakes, it was hardly easy. I’m still learning how to navigate running my own business but working with a business mentor, when I was ready, really helped push me to the next level. Every time I’m faced with a challenge or I want to give up, I just keep going because I know quitting will never get me to where I want to go.

I want every one to know that your dream life is possible. Everyone can live their dream and that’s what my business is all about, helping you make your dream life your reality.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friend to Tito’s tacos in Culver City, it’s my absolute favorite place, but that may be because I always love the stories my mom tells me about how this was her hang out spot after school when she was a teenager. Then we would go to the Venice boardwalk. I love walking around there and buying things I don’t need and I love anywhere with a view of the ocean.

I would take them to the hike behind the Hollywood sign, there’s something I love about being behind those big letters with the city view. I would have to take them to my favorite crystal shop in Downtown LA (LA Gem Shops) I get all my crystals here!

A picnic at Lake Balboa is a must one day and a trip to LACMA which is where I take any visitor looking for something fun to do. If they went to UCLA with me and are just visiting we would have to stop at Diddy Reese for dessert one day.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Everyone in my life has been completely supportive of my choice to quit my corporate job and pursue my dreams and I recognize just how fortunate I am to be surrounded by amazing family and friends. The one person who I have to thank the most is my mentor Bela Aznar. I started working with Bela in October of 2021 and she empowered me to honor myself, encouraged me to pursue my dreams and supported me as I made one of the biggest changes I’ve ever made in my life. She really helped me find my way back to the person I truly am and to make my dreams become a reality.
