Meet Néhel | Music Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Néhel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Néhel, what do you attribute your success to?
Honestly.. I feel like I’m still working on my brand lol. I just feel like being consistent is the most important thing right now. Just trying to constantly come up and create new sounds as much as I can.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started of producing the summer of 2020. I have to say that the journey so far has been kind of up and down, but so far amazing. I feel like the one thing that sets me apart from others is that I like to challenge myself to do things that most people would say is impossible to do. I started playing guitar with nails and I had a lot of people criticizing me for that at first and telling me that I could only get so far, but I continue to challenge myself because I believe that anything is possible. One lesson I’m learning along the way is… Not to pay attention to what everyone else is doing to focus on your craft and yours alone. Tunnel vision is so important because when you look left and right you start to compare yourself and no one should compare themselves with anyone because everyone is unique in their own way. What do I want the world to know about me? Hmm … that I’m gonna keep trying and no matter how hard the journey gets I don’t ever wanna give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m so simple. I love animals and the one thing I would do is either go to the aquarium or the zoo. I’ve never been to a petting zoo before so I would probably take them somewhere like that.
To be completely honest I am more of an introvert than extrovert and I’m actually just now opening up to the fact that I want to get out more. I’ve been watching a lot of TikTok videos lately of really dope places to go to or hang out at. I’ve been writing all of them down so that me and my best friend can go check these places out. Even though I am an introvert I have to say that I’m very spontaneous. Although I don’t mind planning, I’d rather see something the day of and check it out.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout out to my teacher Nabeyin. He taught me how to make music through the pandemic and helped me get my first placement. I would love to give a shout out to my best friend for encouraging me when I wasn’t even sure what I wanted to do with my life. She believed in me no matter what. Love you Abecca. And a huge shout out to all of my close friends and family for supporting me throughout my journey thus far! I appreciate each and everyone of you for showing love and taking time out to listen to what I have created.
