We had the good fortune of connecting with Colin Stauber and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Colin, how do you think about risk?
Risk is what life is all about.
When you want something in life, you just got to reach out and grab it.
I’m really inspired by people that do that.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
This year I was fortunate enough to partner with some amazing music and tech companies, allowing my music to be distributed across the world including multimedia agencies providing music for TV and Film.
I’m very happy. I make sure to celebrate and enjoy all my accomplishments, big or small.
It’s still always about the music and being authentic.
Recently my song “Part Of Me” got over half a million plays from a company including it in their project. It’s very cool that companies and organizations can easily cross tag my music in their projects. It leads to lots of creative and collaborative possibilities.
There are lots of new opportunities for supporting the arts through tech.
I’m very excited to keep connecting with new listeners and keep spreading the power of music.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have lots of secret spots in LA. My favorite secret spots are in Malibu, Griffith Park, Mulholland Drive, and the orchard in my backyard.
I can’t tell you too much without giving away where exactly they are. However, we are going to be doing more pop-up shows in the future so you might get a location via my newsletter.
Live music in nature is where it’s at!

Shoutout to my family, friends, supporters and colleagues! My wife, daughter, and dog who mean the world to me. My family, parents, grandparents, and relatives that have helped shape me into who I am. My talented siblings who do amazing work themselves. My close friends who know who they are. Any supporter across the world, if I met you or if I haven’t, I appreciate you. I’m so thankful to have such amazing people in my life.
