We had the good fortune of connecting with #Zammy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi #Zammy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is the catalyst to success. I truly believe and live by that; A risk can be described as many different things depending on the person speaking, but at the end of the day you wouldn’t take a risk if there wasn’t a reward attached it. The most successful people I’ve studied have all mentioned taking a risk, something other’s didn’t want to do, but they did. This risk either began their rise to success or was the sole reason they reached such success.

With that being said, all my life I’ve taken “Calculated Risks” anyone around me can attest to that. Risks that I felt would bring me happiness, memories, or success. Risks that others wouldn’t typically take. Risks that made me the man I am today. I preach the concept of taking Calculated Risks, don’t just take any risk but think about it & if the reward is worth the risk. Do It! & don’t second guess your decision.

Without Calculated Risks I wouldn’t have lived in New York, Tel Aviv, Israel, & Los Angeles. Without Calculated Risks I wouldn’t be where I am in my music and business career. Without Calculated Risks I wouldn’t be as street smart and so on.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a recording artist, videographer, photographer, director & so on…

I’m proud to be able to claim these titles with no exaggeration necessary; With my love for music came all of these other creative pathways to express my art. The pathway to success is not easy, you’re going to run into hurdles. A engineer that doesn’t mix your vocals to your liking, a videographer that doesn’t capture the angles to your liking, or a director that doesn’t capture the idea to your liking. I realized at a young age you can either complain that others don’t understand or you can do it yourself. I chose to do it myself, this is what sets me apart from the rest & it happened solely from my drive to create the highest quality art as possible.

To this day the #Zammy brand and story bleeds independence, everyone around me moves with the same mindset; “If you don’t want to help, I’ll do it myself & do it better” and we’re going to keep that mindset until our goals are reached to the fullest extent.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend comes to town in LA here’s where we’d go!

First stop we’re hitting the legendary Forever the Family Studio in North Hollywood, maybe kick-it, maybe make some art, who knows! Next we’re headed down the street to Angel’s Tacos because if you’re in LA you gotta have tacos & Angel’s is the best!

Next day we have to check-out the beach, I recommend Long Beach because it’s less populated than Santa Monica n such but if they want to site see then we’ll go to Santa Monica/Venice Beach. Then a quick stop to Melrose, n lastly off to Castaway for dinner!

Now most likely Forever the Family will probably be having a concert when they’re in town so I’d take them to that concert to see some amazing independent music acts!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
You can’t be successful in anything without a team and without certain people that push you along in your journey. For me I’ll name a few.

My Family (Mom, Dad, Sisters) – They set the perfect example for me being the youngest in the family, they showed me how love, discipline, & structure can result to success in not just your career path but in friendship and life.

Faiz of @Quantumdreamcinema – He inspired me to start making my own music and videos at a young age, watching him create eye catching videos in his living room on a weekly basis as kids showed me anyone can do it if you try.

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated (MuPi Chapter) – This organization, family, & brotherhood instilled further discipline & gave me an ecosystem of brothers that to this day provide me with insight on how to navigate life’s problems.

ForevertheFamily @Foreverthefamily – My friends, my team, & my label no words for what we’ve been able to accomplish together and what the future holds for us.

Any & Every Ex-Girlfriend – Sure heartbreak is hard to get through, but it sure does put a battery in your back once you’re through it. Without them doing me wrong, I wouldn’t have all these people to prove wrong. I’m thankful everyday.
