Meet Cindy Konjo | Producer | Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy Konjo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy, how does your business help the community?
My production business is in the entertainment industry, which already has a heavily over-saturated male/white presence. My “Teazer Network” company being black woman owned is already revolutionary, because not many women produce content for the entertainment industry. I would love to be a part of the women who are bridging this gap and creating memorable, entertaining, and thought provoking content and also providing a platform for other POC to shine or just getting them what they need for their ideas to come to life. One of my favorite quotes is “create today to remember yesterday” and I want what’s being created today to say black women are making amazing, high value and entertaining things that are worth seeing and supporting.

What should our readers know about your business?
My passion is capturing beautiful people, inspiring concepts, meaningful moments and producing eye catching content. I decided to tie all my passions into one by creating my business TEAZER NETWORK. Right now, with this business I’m able to provide photography services, production services and content creation services. My ultimate goal is create a tangible platform for Gen Z and Millenials, specifically POC Gen Z & Millenials to create and bring their visions to life. Eventually I will turn my platform into a Network like “BET” or “MTV”. I’m producing a podcast out of the network right now and have produced mini series, as well as music videos and countless photoshoots. It wasn’t easy but everything I do for my business doesn’t feel like work because it’s my passion. It’s easy to over come challenges when you’re passionate. Stay tuned for more podcast episodes, music videos, and projects in January 2023!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a loved one is coming to LA we’re going hiking in on of the Malibu trails for a beautiful view of the area, then grabbing some good food to eat at the beach. Definitely taking them to Broadstreet Oyster, they have amazing lobster rolls! Then ending the day walking around DTLA stoping at different art galleries. The Charlie James gallery in Chinatown is my favorite right now! Then ending the night bar hoping around Spring st 😎

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout to all my creative friends who work as models, directors, producers, photographers etc. to know y’all inspire me daily. I’m so motivated by seeing my friends and others in my field continue to work and create because it takes a lot of work to make creative things look easy if done correctly. I thank you guys for existing and making me feel like I should keep going as well.
