Meet Jake The Kidventurist | Adventure Creator with a focus on Fun Travel Adventures, Super Cool Family Friendly Vacation Spots, Crazy Food Creations and Luxury Family Travel

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jake The Kidventurist and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jake, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Being an influencer has helped me not only bring business and positive exposure to companies I partner with but it also helps me show people with disabilities that there are no limits to what we can accomplish. Any dream and goal is possible with the determination, support, hard work and believing in yourself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am an actor and social media influencer. I have the most amazing team and have been blessed with the opportunity to work with one of the best entertainment industry managers in L.A., Kim Matuka of Schuller Talent. Kim has helped mold my acting career and I am grateful t0 be among her roster of amazing clients. It has not been easy as the industry is competitive and tough at times with high expectations. This alone is a challenging standard however to try and do this while having Aspergers has been a little extra challenging. I need to work pretty hard to audition against some talented kids out there but I’ve had my share of accomplishments and bookings and am proud of the pay off for the effort and sacrifices I’ve put in.
Lessons I’ve learned along the way are that although I am different, I am not treated any differently out there and having Asperger’s doesn’t get me any special accommodations or free passes. If a large script comes in last minute and needs to be memorized in a matter of hours, the that’s exactly what needs to be done. I’m lucky my mind works in a way that helps me do just that. It’s kind of like my Superpower!
What I want the world to know about my story is that it is one of success through hard work and a strong foundation of believing in myself that has been instilled in me for as long as I can remember. Anything is possible if you believe it. My brand is one that works to make my partners shine not myself. I aim to deliver what is asked of my by some large companies I work with. My motto is to under promise and over deliver!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am an outdoor adventure kid all the way so I would take my friend to BIG BEAR , Ca. The drive up is amazingly beautiful and then you start to drive into the Lake area and see all the boats, jet skis, trees, cabins and it feels like another world just a couple hours away. We would start with water activities and a day on the lake followed by a outdoor bbq at dusk at the cabin. We would make smores before getting ready to hit the village the next day. In the village there is tons of shopping, ice cream, an old fashioned candy shop and even an escape/VR room! Before heading home, we would stop at Alpine Slopes for some arcade games, rides down the slope, a mini coaster and on warm days, waterslides. Of course if we went up in winter, we would snowboard!
After coming back down the hill, we would drive over to Disneyland for a 2 day/2 park park hopper and over night at one of the Disneyland Hotels. Need I say more? We would end our Disney stay with a shopping trip, delicious meal and some fun at the ESPN Zone!
Next we would head over to the Great Wolf Lodge where we would enjoy a night in one of their themed family suites before hitting one of the largest and coolest indoor waterparks, events, attractions, shopping and food!
On the last day, I would take my friend out for some archery, a few hours at SkyZone Trampoline Park, Miniature Golf and end the day with a FUNtastic meal and dessert at THE SUGAR FACTORY!!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to send a ShoutOut to my Mom who is also my Momager, Public Relations Agent and Brand Manager. She has taken courses in PR and Branding just to help my career thrive and to also understand what our partners need from us. She also homeschools me and helps me learn to navigate the world while having Asperger’s. She loves to have “Off Time” where we create and play engage together so she can see the world through my eyes to better understand me. She is my biggest supporter, number 1 fan and best friend!
