Renée Fox | Artist/ President of Inglewood Open Studios

Today, IOS still supports local artists and art activities by building a diverse, inclusive and resilient community. IOS is a private nonprofit arts organization founded and led by artists to support Inglewood artists and communities through its annual art walk, artist studio visits and demonstrations, artist lectures and artists’ professional development. Through starting Pink Moon Atelier, I have found my own healing & self love. It is honestly one of the most empowering feelings in the world and I wish everyone could experience it. Cami & Niki | Hosts & Producers of Double Teamed Podcast

Our podcast, Double Teamed with Cami & Niki, covers non-monogamy, sexuality, and kink; three topics that come with a lot of shame, stigma, and judgment. However, these are also three topics that are important to the fabric of sexuality as a whole. Ayda Akbal | Composer, Songwriter & Producer

Although I am not outwardly an ‘activist’ in my work, I do believe that just by sharing my music and my day-to-day life as a composer, I am opening up a space for other people from minorities in this profession (whether that be for women, culturally and linguistically diverse people – the list goes on). I’ve connected with people all around the world just by sharing my work on social media – even getting messages from other composers telling me that they’re grateful to have found my Instagram because they can finally see other people like them ‘doing it’ in the industry. Dannon Eubanks | Director of Community Engagement for Volunteer Odyssey | Outdoor Enthusiast | Memphis Advocate

The way that Volunteer Odyssey helps the Memphis community is two-fold. As a volunteer center, we support local nonprofits. Our work extends from there and differs from other volunteer centers as we provide wrap-around support for our partners. We onboard partners in a way that focuses on the quality of their programs, relationship building, and ensuring we are capable of meeting their needs. We vet our partners in a multi-step process that allows us to learn about their mission, their goals, and their needs. We value quality over quantity. Read more>>
