We had the good fortune of connecting with Nika Geneva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nika, what are you inspired by?

My creative inspiration comes from how strongly I feel about empowering and elevating every individual I meet, so they can feel beautiful in their skin and be the best version of themselves. In the past, I have definitely felt like I wasn’t pretty enough, deserving enough, smart enough and I know how hard it is to come from a place of low self confidence. It can be really detrimental to your life and relationships. If my story and support help impact someone’s life, it really makes my day!

Therefore I am excited to announce the launch of my new Self Image Coaching Program. It is a personalized one-to-one experience with live online calls and support, focused on self image and confidence, mindset, makeup & hair demos, personalized product recommendations, secrets on how to look your best in photos and on camera, plus so much more.

What should our readers know about your business?

Oh it was definitely not easy, and I don’t believe anyone has it easy… It is a little bit of the culture nowadays to share only the good or fun side of our stories, therefore on the outside everything seems so “perfect” when in reality we have all experienced many obstacles to build successful business and relationships. And let’s face it – new challenges will keep coming our way, it is what makes us stronger and resilient!

I have been on the other side, life has put me through many tests with relationships, personal and business, and I often felt stuck, alone and misunderstood…most of my peers and family members were skeptical and, even worse, sarcastic towards my dreams and goals. I moved to a foreign country not knowing one single person and not having any security like a job or accommodations. Matter of fact I spent a ton of money to make it happen and had $100 left, but that did not stop me!

I want to inspire and help my clients to dream big and take that scary leap to achieve what they want in life. Starting with external work like learning how to best do their makeup according to their face features and life goals or how to look fabulous on camera. But also taking the next step – diving deep inward and learning about themselves, their fears, so we can then put in the internal work, adjust the mindset, and create a powerful shift in such a way that they can thrive and feel confident for the rest of their lives!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

This question is so fun! Well, I will not take them to Hollywood Blvd haha, even though I’m sure they’d still choose to go. Okay I will give you 7 – one for each day of the week and because it’s my favorite number:

1. The Getty Center – there is such magical energy in and around this museum… I sometimes go there just to sit in the garden, but they always have amazing art exhibits.

2. Geoffrey’s in Malibu – the food & drinks are almost as exquisite as the sunset on their patio!

3. MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art) – I think there are a few of them, but you’d have good times no matter which one you pick.

4. Aroma Cafe in Studio City – sweet European vibe, great tea & treats.

5. LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) – the building is very cool and has fun lights up front that will make a perfect background for your awesome pictures!

6. The Highlight Room (rooftop lounge) – there is something very special about sipping your cocktail while standing on top of a building in a metropolitan city. Fun fact about myself, I live for rooftops, lights and cute ambiance.

7. Hike to the Griffith Observatory – you get good exercise, beautiful views and if you go at night you can look at the stars (not the ones that live in Hollywood haha) Can it get better than that?!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Big shoutout to Delanie Fischer, my business coach and mentor! This woman is a power house. Her influence and guidance have brought such a tremendous value to me and my business, I couldn’t be more grateful that the universe introduced us! Check out Delanie’s Self-Helpless Podcast.

I also would love to add that I have been very lucky to meet some amazing people along the way who have gifted me love, care and endless support! Thank you to all my fantastic friends and my mom! Words are not enough to express my love, appreciation and gratitude!
