Meet Jada Cintron | Actor, Musician, & Marketing/Advertising Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jada Cintron and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jada, how do you think about risk?
I think if you don’t take enough risks you won’t unlock the next level of yourself. No one who makes it big plays it safe their whole life. I’m a huge planner and have been this way since high school, once graduating college I realized I could never completely abandon planning but if I wanted to reach the next level I had to become more comfortable in taking risks. So I started planning my life around calculated risks, which in return landed me at a job where I’m motivated everyday to work while maintaining my motivation towards my creative and personal life goals. One of my biggest risks was moving across the country from NY to LA and this has been one of the best experiences I could have chosen thus far in my 20s.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Growing up I went to a performing arts high school for musical theater and one of the main reasons I chose to audition for that major was my love for acting, music, and dancing. Once graduating I felt confused because I still wasn’t able to pick a creative lane to master, but through time I realized the world needs more multifaceted/multidimensional people. Don’t limit yourself or put yourself in box “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than master of one”. Time management has been my biggest obstacle while juggling castings, bookings, acting classes, rehearsals, and working 9-5 but maintaining my discipline, patience, and confidence has helped me the most in this process as I’m sure it does for all creatives and entertainers.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ahh unfortunately I feel like my responses is going to make all the LA natives/locals cringe lol. In no particular order I would take them on a hike, probably Runyon since it’s the closest hike and most convenient to get to from my home. I would also take them to Venice beach/Santa Monica pier. I would go to Wii Jammin since I love Caribbean food and

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shout out to my mom. She always supported everything I’ve ever said I wanted to do as a kid from dance lessons, to piano lessons, to my academic pursuits, when I wanted to do cheerleading, when I wanted to do theater camp. As a single mom she always made sure to give me the best life she could, she was always in school and working but made it a point to ensure I was always in an activity. Her unconditional support has allowed me to be the well rounded woman I am now. Her ability to trust my choices even when I’m sure she didnt agree but still guide me without be overbearing or controlling has also molded me into the independent person I am and helped me feel confident in my risk taking.
