We had the good fortune of connecting with Elisa Jordana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elisa, what do you attribute your success to?
I think that the most important factor to creating a successful brand is being very passionate about what you are creating and also tuning in to what your customers are looking for. I make sure to look at every comment, every complaint, every suggestion everyone give me. I listen to everyone’s advice, whether it be someone I’m collaborating with or a viewer.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart is I treat my artistic and creative projects like I would’ve treated a typical office job in my past. You have to treat the job as a blessing! I respect my fans and my viewers. I want to give them what they want and have them be satisfied and inspired by what I’m doing. The hardest thing about IRL is putting a cohesive story together with the right combination of people. I love the challenge of it and I want others to be inspired enough to be brave and share their story. My favorite part of being able to share my interactions with people is that I can help others to also follow their creative path.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have a lot of people from out of town visiting me! I love to take visitors to the beach in Santa Monica, walk on the 3rd street promenade, go to a restaurant in Venice, and see the boats in Marina Del Rey.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to credit many of the people that collaborated with me. Weezy, Leaf King, Sharmin Smith, Lala, Mini Manson, Moss Krivin, Virtuous LA Spartan, Gina, Elaine Ridings, Billy John, Andy Dick, Wappy Flanker, and Egypt Beauty. There’s even more people that have helped me through my journey and it’s been such an incredible blessing.
