There is no formula for success, but certain ingredients help

Through our work we have been constantly amazed at the incredible things people in every neighborhood are working on. What’s even more exciting is that they all have different stories, backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses. That there isn’t a single formula for success means that everyone can take their unique set of strengths and characteristics and turn it into a success story. We recently reached out to some folks we admire and asked them what characteristics they feel are responsible for their success.

I think the success of my career has been not being afraid to change things. The fact of seeing obstacles as opportunities to change or start over. In my opinion, the single most important factor behind my success is that I am prone to obsessing on whatever I am doing. When the idea of becoming a tattoo artist became a realistic outcome for me, (when I stopped doubting myself), I became completely obsessed on it. It was all I thought about. Fun is at the core of Playground Printing. I enjoy what I do and who I do it with and that makes all the difference. I created the brand as an opportunity to not only expand upon my own love for printing/textile, but to help others do the same. When I first embarked on my real estate career, my mentor told me to come from a place of service. She would say it all the time and I never quite grasped the entirety of what she was conveying until, I actually came from a place of service.
