We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Ray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I am a single mother of two children ages 22, 19. When my kids were 14 and 12 I decided to walk away from an abusive relationship and uproot my kids from out comfort zone in Washington, D.C. and drive cross country to Los Angeles. I had. I job waiting for me, no place to live, and no one in LA I could turn too. I left my kids with my mom for 2 months while I travels by car to LA got here and stayed in a hotel searching the web for employment. Once I was able to settle into a job I flew my kids out to LA to begin our new life minus of friends and family. Of course this was devastating for the kids yet my reasoning would be way more impactful than their initial response. We lived in a one bedroom on air mattresses for a year and a half until I was able to get our belongings shipped from the east coast. I had a goal- I had dreams and I knew ALL things are possible when u believe. One day I answered an add on Craig’s list which was for a all me s nail salon opening on melrose ave. I answered that ad and the rest would be life changing. I just walked into my purpose which changed the dynamics of my life. Too make a long interested story short I began managing this location, then quickly becoming a partner / share holder/ helped develop a franchise motto: / appeared on Shark Tank and 13 reality show appreances following. From there my life upgraded out of a one bedroom/ brand new car/ new life for my kids etc. this opportunity lead me to moving on and opening my own All men’s nail lounge in Beverly hillS. I showed my kids that it’s important to use your trails and tribulations as stepping stone! Make those moment monumental (triumph). I showed my kids that all things are possible when u humble yourself and believe! I showed my kids to not be afraid of risks and to JUMP and to live with FAITH and never FEAR!!!!!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Owning a ALL Men’s Hand and Foot care practice sets me aside from most nail salons. I don’t focus on nail polish – I focus on HEALiNG. I create my own product from foot soaks, foot scrubs, body oils, foot and body butters, beard oils etc. My business is successful because I’m not just providing a service these men can get anywhere- I’m providing an experience they can’t just get anywhere. I work on the SOULS of men and that’s my NICHE!

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I’m all about the outdoors. We would spend lots of time at the beach and riding the coast.. We would hit up a yoga studio, reiki session, and Korean spa for some relaxation. I would host an evening of dinner along with mobile massages for us at my home. The week would be life changes due to self care and self love practices.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Through tour this time my kids have been the most supportive and understanding alongside of my mother. My clients for holding me down and seeing my light in the dark!! And of course GOD for giving me passion and purpose!
