We had the good fortune of connecting with Salar Sheik and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Salar, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
You must understand the lows of starting your own business. How much you will need to get up and running, and how long are you able to go without a payday. Some months are big wins but others are just a struggle . I feel this is common with many start ups.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
t’s been an wild journey in the past 3 years due to covid . At times I felt like I was going backwards in my business but I kept on pushing through and keeping true to myself and my customers. I’ve always stayed loyal to my clients, and now the fruits Are plentiful. There’s truly no overnight success. To this day I am still learning from the industry that I consult for. That’s the only way you can keep up and be relevant throughout the future. I feel others in my industry become stale quickly due to the lack of consistent learning. The minute you stop listening and analyzing is a day you become outdated.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would spend a day at Zuma Beach to enjoy the sun. The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens undoubtedly have the most beautiful gardens. Grab some lunch at Pez in DTLA, the BEST Mexican food IMO, and end the day with cocktails overseeing the sunset ocean at Casa De Mar in Santa Monica.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout is to my wife, she was my main driver in getting my consulting to the large scale that it is today. Her support and drive lead me to push myself and grow my business to what it is today.
