We had the good fortune of connecting with Robin Rise and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robin, how does your business help the community?
During these past 3 decades, I’ve also been a single mom. I had to choose between career focus or mother focus in ways men don’t. I wanted to be there for my daughters, in the ways I always needed growing up. It isn’t a REAL option for single moms to do both. We already carry the burden of childcare and home care, and the emotional labor of a family but to add a career or job “work” is impossible, at least to do it happily. Something’s gotta give. I wanted to be sure my girls had a solid foundation upon which to launch into their future. That’s what mattered most to me. More than anything, I want my girls (and all girls in the future) to be treated with the same options, rights and value as men. We still aren’t paid the same, promoted the same, represented or researched the same. It’s still not the case all these years later, and that needs to be addressed. At best, women make 81 cents to the dollar, are in leadership less than 25%, women retire with 30 % less than men, and after the pandemic or “inequality virus” women lost 800B dollars and are experiencing what is known as the She-cession. Truth is, it’s not working for anyone, most importantly, our future. The world so out of balance cannot survive, let alone thrive. It’s why Woman Optimized knows that when women know themselves, connect and unite with others, we can and will change the world. The Dalai Lama himself said “it is the Western Woman will change the world”.

We are also creating a platform for women, by women. We want to employ women in technology to design and maintain our ethical Artificial Intelligence platform. We want women in cyber security to maintain protection from surveillance capitalism for all our members. We know women are not represented in today’s business and technology decisions. We are designed to correct that, now, and for future generations.

We also aim to create training and jobs, and create a movement within our ecosystem that becomes a model for the NEW world where equality, cooperation, health, and happiness are the guide. We are all essential here, and all of each of us is needed. Together we shall change the world.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
First, my mission: to connect women to themselves, each other, then change the world. Why? Because when mama ain’t happy, nobody is happy. Or “happy wife, happy life”. We all know things are better when women are happy. I am honored and pleased to introduce you to Woman Optimized.

What is Woman Optimized? Every woman’s personal online concierge and matching service guiding her to her health wealth and happiness. And so much more. (Done in a way that corrects for today’s problems for women, women’s business, and predatory technology.)

Who am I? At 5’11”, I have always been the tallest girl in any group. I’ve tried to avoid being so big, so visible, I used to feel so awkward, but there’s been nowhere for me to hide. Now I know It’s mostly because I don’t want to be seen MORE than others. I want everyone to see and be seen. I’m happy to stand in the back of a photo or the back of a lecture because I can see OVER most people, instead of blocking others sight. In other times, However, this bigness works to my advantage because I seem to naturally take on leadership roles about social causes, workplace or school issues or injustices. When it matters, I’ll protect truth, human rights and values because I’m big enough and strong enough to speak truth to power. I think because I’m a natural blonde, I like being an unexpected wild card because I’m intelligent and well armed with research and facts. I do enjoy dispelling the dumb blonde myth…

For the past 35 years, I’ve been a Clinical Psychologist, obsessed with understanding how transformation, evolution and change can happen in each person. Every one of us has our own gifts and purpose to bring to the world. But most people, 95% in fact, think they know who they are, and actually only 12-15% are accurate. It’s why women need to connect to themselves first in our the Woman Optimized mission statement. It’s essential we operate from what’s true. As a Jill-of-all-trades, pattern-finder, lifelong student, I’m sometimes annoyingly relentless in pursuit of WHAT REALLY WORKS and is TRUE. I study, work, research, practice, train with and collaborate with some of the world’s best visionaries, transformative experts, scientists, and leaders in all areas of life. I believe all people should have exactly what they need to reach their goals and fulfillment to change their lives daily. It has to truly WORK so it can make a lasting difference in people’s lives. There’s lots of information out there. It’s not all accurate, or accurate for everyone, or applied in the right way or time and many are therefore feeling lost or like they’ve failed, when really, just some part of what they’ve tried isn’t in their highest interest. This increase in overwhelm, depression, anxiety, addiction, loneliness and outrage has created so much hopelessness and learned helplessness. It doesn’t have to be that way. It’s why it’s Woman Optimized’s mission to connect women with EACH OTHER, with those who are truly in alignment. Why? Happy, connected, hopeful, healed people are the ones who make the world better.

So, it turns out my “bigness”, my curiosity, my and willingness to stand up for what is right, is also meant for my passion and legacy project, Woman Optimized. I’ve dedicated the past 20 years to bringing this into manifestation. It’s audacious, but it is what’s needed. How do I know this? because every woman I know says this is exactly what she needs. She wants to feel known and taken care of. She wants community. She wants to feel safe and happy. Me too.

Woman Optimized is here to make women’s lives better, easier, and more personalized for her. One size fits one. Woman Optimized is a safe and trusted place to bring her whole self to become her best self!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The beauty of LA and Southern California is that there is something for everybody, from the weird to the magical, the active to the leisurely, things to see that are ancient and things that are futuristic. You can be starstruck at Griffiths observatory or walking on Rodeo Drive. Point is, I’d craft to each person. However, if they are like me- One day is renting bikes and riding the beach bike paths, stopping for drinks and food while blasting music.
One day is Griffith’s observatory to hike, then later to look to the skies.
One day is La Brea tarpits then the rest of the afternoon at the Grove.
One day is dedicated to opulence–Rodeo Drive, Hotel Bel Air, sight seeing in Beverly Hills, Mulholland drive.
One day is dedicated to Hollywood–including a hike to the sign, and a walk to TCL (formerly Grauman’s) Chinese Theatre Walk of Fame, Corridor of Memories at Westwood Memorial Park.
One day is drag shows at the Abbey or Rocco’s and walking Santa Monica Boulevard, with dancing or comedy later.
Then, I’d spend a day in Santa Monica or Malibu or Venice, to just chill on a postcard beach.
Wait, I forgot about a museum day…and a food day…and an artisan day…too much to do and see and try!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’m sitting overlooking the property that my grandmother fought to keep through the depression, to pass on to my mother, and to future generations, I’m aware of all the power I derive from the matriarchal line in my life. Now I’m the mom to 2 daughters, for whom I do everything.

I’m aware that women have birthed this world, and I’m grateful for all who came before, and those who will carry us into a better future.

Dedicated to all women everywhere. We are all essential here. May that be finally recognized by us, by others, by society, and the world and may we never give up until our value is truly honored.
