Meet Bara Mann | Transformational Life Coach and Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bara Mann and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bara, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
This is a wonderful question. We ought to check in with ourselves regularly to know if we’re on a good path or if there’s a better adventure waiting for us. Can we reframe this question though?

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a transformational life coach and speaker. One big differentiator between me and other coaches is that I incorporate both energy healing into my work. This allows me to assist clients in quickly clearing limiting beliefs and patterns without reliving difficult moments from the past.
I got here by keeping an open mind and following intuitive nudges, even when they didn’t seem to make sense. For instance, I trained under a crystal healing mentor for several months, even though I didn’t foresee myself using crystals in my work. I could never have guessed how much it would enhance my intuition.
I also never tried to do it alone. In addition to mentors I’ve gained a lot from communities of like-minded business folks. Like the online community Mind Your Business and HERmosa Circle, a free networking group for people located in the South Bay. I even became the HC director of membership and recruitment. It was outside of my comfort zone but opened up plenty of doors!
I view life and business as ever-changing experiments. Experimentation leads to lessons, which I share regularly on my Instagram and blog. One lesson I’ve had to learn many times is that we tend to be our own worst critics. You are judged much less than you may think! Also, sometimes the most impactful content gets the fewest likes. I can’t tell you how many times I thought an Instagram post or blog was a flop just to later hear that it changed someone’s life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The majority of our time would be spent rollerblading or biking along the Hermosa Strand, or chilling on Hermosa Beach. I would take them to the Grain Cafe for breakfast or lunch. And we would absolutely have to stop by Racer Tea Bar in Redondo Beach! It has delicious tea lattes all day as well as fun entertainment at night.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate my shoutout to Chelsie Skowyra, spiritual therapist and mentor! She helped me learn to trust myself and my path. You can connect with her via chelsieskowyra.com.
