Hi Shakira, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
No matter how hard it gets, you should always stay humble and never give up. You have to think to yourself it was a reason I started this journey so I have to get there until I make it to the finish line.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is Pink’s Silk Salon LLC I love my business! My business is my comfort it’s my everything it what I made from the ground up literally! What sets me apart from other is I am very truthful and honest and humbled I am also beg encouraging! The reason why I always receive good karma is because I always give good karma. I was never the type to think I am always better I always stay humbled. The way how I got to where I am today is by never giving up business wise it wasn’t always easy trust me! Nothing is easy. Honestly during the hard times I just stuck it out and stay humbled. The lessons I learned is you can do anything you put your mind to it’s not going to come easily but you’ll figure out your journey along the way. I want about my brand and story to help others that’s similar to myself! That don’t know where to start and did it! And became successful during the journey.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My fav places in LA! Is I love Santa Monica because that is one of my favorite spots! I love the vibes there. I will also take them around Burbank. Burbank it one of my favorite areas to shop and adventure! And of course rodeo drive! When I went to LA to visit I just knew this was a place I needed to be.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I honestly have to give it to myself! I know this sounds extra. But the challenge has honestly been me vs me! I have to give it to myself for never not giving up! Even when I felt the hard times. I stuck it out! I am very ambitious whatever I wanted to do I actually did. I just knew there was always a way to get there it just takes some time and patience. You can do anything in this world as long as you put the work in and stay humble!
