Meet Ejimofor Oruche | Entrepreneur and Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ejimofor Oruche and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ejimofor, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
I think the most important thing I have done is create space for learning. I look at my son and I see that his environment is safe enough where he can be curious and also be challenged in a healthy way where we can have amazing growth experiences.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am the co-founder of Bosa, a goal management platform. I am also a songwriter and producer. I would say that I am very unconventional. That used to feel awkward, but now it feels like a badge of distinction. My path thus far has not been easy. I think a lot of the challenges were internal more than external. I have had to spend a lot of time understanding myself better so I could actually create from that perspective. It’s definitely still a work in progress but I am much farther along. My lessons learned are: Don’t rush the process, don’t ignore your uniqueness to fit in. and don’t despite the hard seasons cuz those are the most significant times of formation.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
– Chori-man in San Pedro for breakfast burritos then Korean Bell – Griffith Observatory
– Kyochon Chicken in Koreatown
– Lincoln Heights Deli
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife Chelsea, for partnering with me on this crazy life journey.
